How to Transfer Google Earth Locations to a New Computer



1. Sign in to the old computer.

2. Press 'Windows-E' on the keyboard to open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.

3. Browse to the 'C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Google\GoogleEarth' folder, where '%username%' represents the user profile name.

4. Copy the file 'myplaces.kml' to a temporary storage device such as a USB drive. Alternatively, you can attach the file to an email and send it to yourself, and then check your mail and download the file on the new computer.

5. Sign in to the new computer.

6. Press 'Windows-E' on the keyboard to open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.

7. Browse to the 'C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Google\GoogleEarth' folder.

8. Replace the 'myplaces.kml' file on the new computer with the file from the old computer.
