How to Promote a Webinar

1. Use traditional paid advertising to promote your webinar. You can advertise via banner ads on related websites, in e-zines and even through a pay-per-click campaign on the major search engines. Remember, attendees mean money, so it is important to not be afraid to spend some cash to get the word out.

2. Announce your webinar in the signature line of your e-mails and in message board posts. This will allow you to get free publicity about your webinar several times each day. Each forum has different rules about signatures, so be sure to adhere to their guidelines in order to keep your ads up.

3. Put flyers up around your town in locations with a lot of foot traffic if your webinar can appeal to a wide variety of people. Remember, just because your seminar is being held on the Internet, doesn't mean that your attendees have to hear about it on the Internet.

4. Promote your webinar around the office if you are holding it for your colleagues or subordinates. This is an easy way to let everyone in the office know about your event. Place notices on communal bulletin boards, send group emails and flyer individual offices and cubicles.
