How to Remove a DoubleClick Tracking Cookie
Remove Registry Entries
1. Go to the 'Start' menu, type 'Regedit' in the Start Search box and hit 'Enter' to start the Registry Editor.
2. Browse to and delete the following registry entries:SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun(doubleclick.com)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun(doubleclick.net)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionBackup(doubleclick.com)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionBackup(doubleclick.net)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionShellExtensionsApproved(doubleclick.com)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionShellExtensionsApproved(doubleclick.net)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionURLPrefixes(doubleclick.com)
SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionURLPrefixes(doubleclick.net)
3. Close the Registry Editor.
Find and Delete File
4. Go to the 'Start' menu, type 'DoubleClick' in the 'Start Search' box and hit 'Enter.'
5. Delete all search results.
6. Restart your computer.
