How to Disable My GPS Latitude Location in the Google Maps Toolbar

1. Turn on your cell phone.

2. Navigate to the Google Maps application, and launch it.

3. Press the 'Menu' or 'Settings' button to bring up the Google Maps toolbar.

4. Select the 'Latitude' option.

5. Press the 'Menu' or 'Settings' button to bring up the Latitude options menu.

6. Select the 'Privacy' option.

7. Select the 'Turn off Latitude' option to completely disable the service, or choose the 'Hide your location' option so others can't see your location.
