How to Make Money from Advertisers when Selling eBooks Online
1. Trial Pay is a new payment platform that increases your customer's willingness to pay for your product.
2. Here is the concept. You create a special offer or make your item free to the buyer if the buyer completes an offer with an advertiser. An offer is something like a free trial at NetFlix, 25 free music downloads from eMusic, a free audiobook from Audible, or a free membership to Blockbuster.
3. If your customer completes the offer, he gets your item for free or at a discount, and the advertiser pays you anywhere from $10 to $25 or more. So, instead of the customer paying you for the product, the advertiser pays you more than the customer would have.
4. To try this program, sign up for Trial Pay and create an account. (See the resources section below.) Then create an offer such as 'Get this eBook free!' Add the HTML to your product pages on your website.
5. Why does this strategy work? A customer willing to pay the full price for your eBook may be worth more to an advertiser than your retail price. Think of the big picture. Many online advertisers have customers with lifetime values that range in the $100 to $1,000s. For example, let's say your customer signs up for the NetFlix free trial. He decides likes the service, and converts to a paying customer. NetFlix can make $100s or $1,000s of dollars from that one customer over the next several years. NetFlix's investment was only $20 or so they paid you to get that customer through your website.
6. The customer gets a good deal, gets your eBook free, and gets to try a new product or service for free. You get paid a nice referral fee, and the advertiser gets a new customer. Everyone wins.
7. This type of passive income is much more efficient and can pay much more than pay per click advertising on Google Adsense through affiliate programs. You will still want to do those programs, too, but, the advertisers on Trial Pay will pay you much more.
8. Trial Pay is also a great way to acquire new customers that might not want to pay for your product. In essence, you can make more money from the advertisers than you make selling the actual eBook.
9. See the resource links below for more information on Trial Pay, how the program works, and to see an example of it in use on a website.

How to Create a Turnkey Web Site
1. Choose a market niche for your turnkey site. Websites that focus on niches are popular and can generate a significant revenue have the greatest chance of being sold. Think of industries that have a large advertising network. For example, a website on dog care serves a large audience and also has a wide range of companies who would want to advertise dog care products. In contrast, a site about raising ants will have a much narrower audience and less appeal to advertisers and entrepreneurs.
2. Sign up for budget web hosting. When attempting to create a turnkey website, minimizing your overhead costs will help you realize the greatest profit when selling the site. You also want a host that is able to transfer ownership of the domain and hosting account for free. Examples of budget webhosts that can do this include Fat Cow and Blue Host (see Resources).
3. Build the turnkey site. If building the site from a blank page, use a visual site editor (e.g. Dreamweaver) or a standard text editor if you are comfortable with your level of HTML expertise. Alternatively, purchase a professional website template. Templates are popular among those who create turnkey websites because they minimize the time it takes to get the site up and running. Avoid free website template sites as they often offer low-quality templates that are not always standards-compliant. Dreamtemplate is an example of a professional template provider (see Resources).
4. Propagate your site with keyword-targeted, original content. Include a minimum of five to 10 pages for the site. Think about the keywords that will attract advertisers. Stay focused on your turnkey website's overall theme. For example, a dog care site may have web pages on dog breeds; dog grooming tips; dog grooming product reviews; and dog feeding and nutrition guides. The more pages you include with the turnkey site, the higher your chance of selling the site quickly.
5. Insert advertising and affiliate programs. Popular examples include Google AdSense, Commission Junction and Amazon Associates. You may insert your own code, which the purchaser will then replace with his or her own affiliate codes. Alternatively, simply insert 'Ad Here' or similar text to notify the purchaser of the locations of ad spots. However, successful turnkey websites will come with affiliate codes pre-installed and income reports to show potential buyers of the site's income potential.
6. Upload the website to the web host you chose in Step 2 using your FTP software. Enter your server name and password into the FTP software to connect with the server. If you do not know this information, it may be found in the registration material sent to you by the host when you originally registered. Once connected, upload the templates and pages you've created. Your turnkey site is now online.
7. List the turnkey site you've created for sale. You may wish to post it for free on an online classified ads website such as Craigslist. Alternatively, list the site for sale on an online marketplace specializing in turnkey website sales. One of the most popular and well-known sites that do this is the Sitepoint Marketplace (see Resources).

How to Decrease Google CPM
1. Lower the default CPM bid for the campaign. Every campaign has a maximum bid that may be changed at any time. Once inside the campaign editing screen, you can lower your bid to $0.25 CPM, the minimum allowed by Google. Use the 'Calculate Weekly Estimates' button on the same screen to see how many impressions your ad will generate at the new bid price. Increase the bid in stages until you reach an acceptable impression-to-cost ratio for your budget.
2. Regroup the keywords used to trigger your ads. Each keyword you choose is assigned a value. In certain cases, the values between individual keywords may be $20 per click or more. Reorganizing your keywords into groups based on their relative values will often result in a decrease of CPM. Free tools such as the Google Adword Keyword Tool can help establish the average value of each keyword to help you organize the groups properly.
3. Change the CPM bid for 'Automatic Placement' ads. These are the placements Google chooses for you based on your keywords and the bid amount you enter. Lowering the bid here changes the CPM of your campaign and allows you to maximize your return on investment (ROI) by finding a happy medium between your cost and click-through ratio on these types of ads.
4. Decrease the CPM bid on 'Managed Placements.' This is the other option Google offers for the display network. You manually ad specific sites within the network that have a high visitor volume and seem to be the most in line with your ad content. Each individual site has its own CPM bid, which may be raised or lowered according to the results your ad produces on the network. Lower the CPM bid on those sites with poor click-through rates to lower the overall CPM cost of your campaign.
5. Adjust the audience settings to decrease Google CPM. Adwords allows you to choose who sees your ads based on a number of demographic factors including age, sex and geographic location. Expanding or narrowing your targeting will change the overall CPM of your campaign. You must test each factor individually to see which way to adjust your settings for your particular campaign. For example, targeting women usually results in an increase in CPM; targeting men between the ages of 35 and 45 may lower the CPM for the same set of keywords.

How to Make Money Without Investing in the Stock Market
Make Money with Money
1. Ask your primary employer for a raise. If you're a valued employee and do your job well, you can actually boost your income without doing a thing--other than asking your boss for a raise.
2. Earn interest on your savings by purchasing high-yield CDs. It's only 3 to 5 percent interest, but this is guaranteed income, and every little bit helps.
3. Store your cash in a high-yield savings account. It's not ideal, because most savings-account interest rates only meet or slightly beat inflation, but if you do your homework, there are some savings accounts that yield 2 to 6 percent if you know where to find various rewards-card checking accounts. (See Resources.)
4. Loan money via peer-to-peer lending websites (also called P2P lending). You are essentially acting like a bank or credit-card company by lending money to finance consumer debt. These debt holders will repay your loan over time plus interest, where you can make a rate of return ranging from 5 percent to 35 percent depending on the borrower's credit score. Prosper.com and LendingClub.com are two excellent choices.
5. Try your hand as an amateur gambler. If you have the skills to count cards at the blackjack table or think you've got what it takes to win a Texas Hold 'em poker tournament, consider using some of your natural skills. It's risky, but if you start small and find you are good at it, you might have stumbled upon your calling.
6. Invest in the real-estate market. If the stock market seems like smoke and mirrors to you, try investing in something you can see and feel. If you don't own your own home, buy a home you can live in, then purchase other investment properties that suit your goals. You can buy residential or commercial properties where you bring in rental income every month to offset your mortgage payments.
Second Jobs--Monetize your Skills and Education During Downtime
7. Tutor the neighborhood kids in math, science or a foreign language. Use your education as a way to benefit your local community, while earning a few bucks doing it. If you are Internet-savvy, create a few YouTube videos to teach a larger audience; you do the work once and harvest the ad revenues as students find your work.
8. Start a babysitting or daycare service. If you love children and you're a trusted member of the community, childcare services could be a legitimate way to supplement your income without leaving home.
9. Perform the annual maintenance on your neighbors' vehicles or be a part-time mechanic. If you grew up working on cars and know how to change the oil in a vehicle or can replace a few spark plugs, ask around and find those neighbors who are afraid of being scammed by a shady auto garage.
10. Do some landscaping or mow a few lawns. There are many people who hate or can't do their own yard work, so identify those people who are willing to pay $10 to $20 for lawn maintenance.
11. Start a business in a field or concerning subject matter you are passionate about. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit or have a great idea or invention you feel strongly about, spend a few bucks, form your own company and get the ball rolling.
Make Money Online
12. Start your own blog. Blogger.com and Wordpress.com are great places to start a free blog where you can write about a subject you know well. Once you become a known voice in your niche market, you can sell advertising spots on your blog, install Google Adsense technology or create affiliate marketing partnerships with sites like Amazon.com. (This isn't a get-rich-quick idea: It takes substantial time to build an audience.)
13. Become a part-time freelance professional. There are thousands of people who do freelance work full time, and many more who do it on the side, performing work that parallels their career path or makes use of a particular skill set. Whether it's doing graphic design, computer programming or basic accounting, there is a wide range of freelance jobs available. Websites like Guru.com, GetAFreelancer.com or Elance.com are all great places to get started.
14. Become an online virtual assistant. There are many professional-level employers who outsource their work to their administrative assistants, and a growing number of these are moving to online communities. If you have the computer skills to use programs like Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access) or you can transcribe audio recordings, websites like Odesk.com or Virtualassistants.com are worth a look.
15. Sell the stuff you no longer use or need. Sites like Craigslist and eBay exist because the neighborhood garage sale just isn't a large enough market for people to make any substantial money. Simply write up a few paragraphs on the product(s) you wish to sell, and you're good to go.
16. Write a few articles online at established websites like eHow, Hubpages, Associated Content, Helium and BrightHub, and share in the advertising revenue generated from your content. A substantial amount of passive income can start to flow in once you have published several dozen articles.
How to Start a Google AdWords Account
1. To start your AdWords account go to http://google.com, choose 'advertising programs' at the bottom, and follow the simple directions to set up your account. It is just as easy as setting up an email account. And if you already have an email or other account with Google, you can use that same account to access Google AdWords.
2. Once you have your account you will again select 'advertising programs' and input a credit card number for future billing.
3. You can design your own ad with Google AdWords, and your ad is what will do your selling for you. So make the effort to design something that will grab the attention of your customers. Put yourself in the shoes of your ideal client and write your copy from his or her point of view rather than advertising what you like about your own business. The bottom line is to remember most people are asking 'what can you (the business) do for me?'
4. Put some time into thinking about your budget and keep your investment low while you experiment and see how Google AdWords will work for you. You can easily run up high bills advertising on the internet. So start off small and do some trial and error experimenting with your best ad designs and keywords to see what works best for you before investing bigger money.
5. There are books and courses you can study to understand the subtleties involved in using Google AdWords. You can also find advertising agencies that can help you use the internet and design powerful, well targeted ads. But first you need start up your Google AdWords account and get familiar with all the advantages this kind of advertising has to offer to see if it is right for you.

Information on Marketing With Google AdWords and AdSense
Google AdWords 101
Google AdWords is an online advertising service for business owners. Your business' advertisement will appear on Google's search pages, and also on its content pages (such as blogs and sites that have signed up to use Google AdSense), every time a user searches Google for a keyword that you have specified. You can use text, images and video in your ads. You can also specify where on a page you would like your ad to appear, or let Google make that determination for you.Rather than paying a monthly fee, you pay for activation, and then set your budget according to how much you are willing to pay for ad placement per day. You can pay for the number of clicks on your ads, or for the number of impressions your ads get. Google also offers advertising reports that let you see how your ads are working and what you might need to change.
Google AdSense 101
Google AdSense is a service for website owners. It allows you to have ads on your site that are automatically targeted to your content, which makes it more likely that your readers or users will click on them. It eliminates the need for site owners to create and maintain their own relationships with advertisers. The advertisers participating in AdWords (the feeder service for AdSense) range from large corporations to small companies. Google lets cost-per-click and cost-per-thousand-impression ads battle it out in auctions for placement on your site's pages, and the ad that will generate the most revenue for that particular page's keywords will win the spot. The ads change as your site's content does, and they are targeted to the user's country, too, so that even an international site can contain ads that each user will find useful.
Safeguards in AdSense
Google AdSense has built in some safeguards that can help your site earn the maximum amount of money while offending the least people. First, you might want to stop competitive ads from appearing on your site--you can use URL blocking to do so. If you don't like a particular product or service whose ads are appearing on your site, you can block those too. AdSense also has a function that checks all submitted ads before posting them to make sure they are suitable for Internet users of all ages. As well as ensuring these ads don't contain inappropriate content, AdSense can also screen for potentially offensive ad page mismatches, such as boating equipment ads on a page about a boating disaster.
Keywords in AdWords
When you create an ad campaign in AdWords, you also must pick keywords to use in that ad. Google's AdWords Help suggests you choose those keywords with care. Make sure that they are specific to your product. Two- or three-word phrases are good to use. When you have picked your main keywords, include singulars, plurals, and synonyms of those words. If your product has a number associated with it, such as a serial or model number, you might want to add this number as a keyword.AdWords has some features that help you choose the best keywords for marketing your product. The Keyword Tool lets you enter a term, and then suggests related terms, along with how many times each word has been searched for on Google in the past month, both in your country and in all countries using Google. You can also see how much using each keyword in your ad would generally cost you per click. For example, the word 'lullaby' would cost an American advertiser 55 cents each time a user clicked on an ad that used that keyword. You then can make a bid for that particular keyword--the higher your bid, the higher your ad will generally be placed on a web page.It is also possible to let AdSense do the bidding for you. You can choose a general budget for a particular ad campaign, and then select automated keyword bidding. AdSense will work out the most clicks you can afford to buy within that budget.
Keeping an AdSense Account in Good Standing
There are some things you cannot do if you have an AdSense account. If you break these rules, your account will be deactivated and you'll no longer have Google ads on your website. Firstly, you can't up your revenue by clicking on your own ads. This is referred to as click fraud. Nor can you encourage your site's users to click on your ads. Next, you can't include content on your site that prompts users to download and install software, or that automatically changes their homepages. Unrequested pop-up windows are always a no-go: AdSense ads should never load in these types of browser windows. Nor should your site have excessive pop-ups that might confuse users into clicking on ads. You should never change AdSense's code to customize the ads that appear on your site: use only the provided features to make customizations, or your account will be frozen. Finally, you are not allowed to feature ads with adult content, ads that promote gambling, or ads that promote drugs.

How to Calculate Ecpm
1. Determine the number of impressions, or number of times the ad was shown. For example, over the past year the advertisement may have been viewed 10,000 times.
2. Determine the amount of earnings the ad made. For example, over the past year, an ad may have brought in $50 of revenue.
3. Divide the number of total earnings by the number of impressions and multiply it by 1,000. The sum is the effective cost per thousand. In this example, divide 50 by 10,000 and then multiple by 1,000 to get $5. Five dollars is your effective cost per million.

How to Make Money With Free Content Websites
1. Establish a niche target market you plan to serve (selling business e-books, for example). The websites must offer a professional look with easy navigation; making significant money with free content websites is not easy with a poorly designed site. Also, use keywords Internet surfers will likely type to find your website; these keywords may help determine the kinds of ads that will appear.
2. Obtain the quality content required for the selected niche. Each website with free content must have a focus (education or money matters, for example). Purchase articles online that relate to your topics, or create the content materials yourself. Keep the text free of spelling errors and easy to read. If necessary, have an SEO copywriter review the articles for keyword phrases to attract more strategic traffic from search engines to make money with free content.
3. Incorporate advertising options that can gain residual income over time, such as contextual ads. For example, contextual ads offer links that pop up based on hovering above certain keyword phrases. Free to set up, these options generate payouts once you reach a certain threshold. To get started, register for an account online and provide some details about your website.
4. Try pay-per-click ads to gain a share of the money from each time a user clicks on an advertisement---a popular option for many websites due to the ease of setting up the ads and placing them between free content on websites. You can establish an account for free within minutes of registering. Google, a popular option, provides analytics reports.
5. Register for commission-based affiliate programs to earn more money with free-content websites. Affiliate programs come from companies or individuals that sell a product or service and will give you a fee for a referral lead. Sometimes, the registered account holder receives payment for views or per click. Typically, these programs are e-books or programs that complement the content on your website. For example, if you focus on college students, your site can provide a book that covers how to get an internship. Look for these affiliate opportunities with large companies, such as Best Buy or Amazon. Though free to open, these accounts but may require approval before inclusion to see how well your website fits the parent company's target market.
How to Work From Home and Become a Google Quality Rater
1.
Apply:
I have included the link in my resources section below. You will need a cover letter and resume. In addition, Google asks that you possess a four year college degree, and have some writing experience. However, I know people who have gotten hired without a college degree. You will also be asked to take an easy test. When you apply, expect to wait a few weeks for a response. Google hires in cycles, so be patient. Pay ranges from $10-$20/hour, and you must work at least ten (10) hours a weeks. However, you can work up to forty hours in the comfort of your own home! If you are fluent in another language, expect an influx of work to come your way from Google.
2.
Sign a disclosure statement:
There is little to no information in regards to becoming an ad rater for Google. This is because Google does not want people discussing the trade secrets of advertising and/or how ads are rated. Rating ads is like a science experiment. Basically ad ratings have to rated in a controlled environment without discussion. You will need to sign a disclosure statement after you accept a position.
3.
Complete Tasks:
You will receive tasks for the week when you log onto your account. Tasks are first- come-first-serve, so be sure to grab your tasks early. Tasks are easy, but tedious. You are also rated for your performance as an employee on a report card. If you are consistent and complete your tasks in a timely matter, you should have no problem.
4.
Get paid weekly:
Google hires an outside agency-Workforce Logic to hire and pay their ad raters. Expect to get paid weekly. If you are looking for a secure way to make money at home, then applying to become a Google Ad Rater may be a good fit.

How to Sell an Online Community
1. Compile reports on traffic, number of monthly users and any income the online community makes. Monthly users and traffic reports can be exported from Google Analytics (see Resources) or any other website traffic tracking system you are using. For income reports, export those from the companies you are utilizing to make money, such as Google AdSense.
2. Calculate the worth of your website by multiplying its annual revenue by three to six. Use your income reports to determine how much you make annually before taxes.
3. List the website on specialized sites such as Flippa and Buy Sell Website (see Resources). A variable fee is charged for both listing and selling the site. Create a standard ad or an auction for the site. Ads must include the URL, revenue figures, visitor totals, a detailed description of where and how you get the revenue and your accepted payment methods. Include any screen caps that back up your revenue and visitor claims.
4. Agree with the buyer on a transition plan, including the transfer of the domain name. Ask for a partial payment, with the remainder paid when you transfer the actual website files to the buyer. Put the files on a CD or DVD and send them to the buyer using a mail service with a tracking number for additional security.

Most modern websites use scripting languages to embed or incorporate external elements into a website design, and the pre-selected code accounts for this with a stand-alone script that refers to the appropriate service providers.
How to Start a Blog Page and Make Money
1.
BLOGSPOT.COMOr if you prefer, Blogger.com. They're both the same thing, doesn't matter which one you use. So go sign up for a blog at Blogspot.com. It's completely free, and you'll be blogging your brains out in no time. There are tons of places to get your own blog, but I recommend Blogspot because it's owned by Google, and that makes it really easy to set up AdSense for your new blog. What is AdSense? It puts those small Google advertisements onto your blog. This is good, because you make money when people click on the links! Not bad for a free blog, huh?
2.
PICK YOUR URLThe next step is picking your new blog's URL, or the address people type into their web browser to pull up your blog. If you're using Blogspot like you should be, your blog's URL will be YOURBLOGHERE.blogspot.com, and that's super.Don't sweat it too much, because you can always change your blog's name whenever you want. But the best idea is to find a good title and a good URL and stick with them. Changing your URL and title will only confuse people who may be trying to keep up with your blog, and drive away repeat readers.Try to make the URL simple. This can be hard sometimes because there's tons of people using Blogspot, and there's a really good chance that SteveSmith.blogspot.com has already been taken. So you have to think of something else.
3.
THEME ITIt's good to have a general theme for when you start a blog, so think of a topic you have a lot to say about and use that as your new blog's title. An example is like, if you decide that your new blog is about surfing, then name your blog SurfSpot.blogspot.com. If it's already taken then think of something else, such as calling it TheOriginalSurfSpot. This is one of my favorite tricks, because it makes your blog look like the real deal while that other guy's surfing blog is left out in the cold. Take that, beach bum.
4.
CHOOSE A TEMPLATENext up is picking a template for your new blog. Blogspot calls their site 'push button publishing,' and you're about to find out why. You can change your layout whenever you want, and it's a good idea to come back later and reevaluate your template after a couple weeks after you start a blog. But for now just pick something you don't totally hate. Don't get sucked into analysis paralysis or else you may never actually write a single word in your new blog. Boom, boom, boom - that's the way to get this done.
5.
NEW POSTAfter you verify your e-mail address and all that, now it's time for the party. Log in to your new blog and click on New Post. This brings up a terrifying blank screen and a blinking cursor staring you dead in the face. Get on it, schlepprock. This isn't Hamlet here, it's blogging. And it's your first blog post, so don't expect anything great. Just write something. Introduce yourself and your blog and outline what you hope to accomplish. The goal is to write and forget about it. You'll hone your blogging skill as you go, but the only way to get better at blogging is to keep blogging.
6.
STAY ON TOPICThis is one of the newest things I have learned, and it can be one of the most difficult. You don't want to be posting a bunch of stuff about your new toy poodle on your Original Surf Spot blog. The reason treads on complicated ground, with a lot of ins and outs about search engine optimization (SEO). But the general idea is you want your blog to be solid. At first your blog probably won't show up anywhere near the first few pages of search results when someone searches for 'surfing blogs,' but after a long stretch of continually posting original content about surfing, your surf blog will creep its way up the list towards the coveted number one spot on Google! But if you're posting about different topics all over the place, someone who clicks on your blog looking for surfing information probably won't stick around and definitely won't come back to your new blog.So if you want people to actually read your blog, keep it fairly focused on a single topic.
7.
POST ITClick on the button to post this sucker, and there you have it: your very first blog post on your very own blog! And that's something to write home about, because lots of people don't have the balls to do what you just did.Now blog it out the wazoo, son!
8. MAKING MONEYNow if you're going to start making money with your blog, the best thing to do first is set up Google AdSense on your page. Do a Google search for 'setting up Google AdSense on Blogger,' and you'll find many guides that will walk you through the process of signing up for and installing AdSense on your new blog.

How to Make Money by using a Blog
1.
1, One of the easiest ways to make money with a blog is to sign up with Google Adsense. Google Adsense will place ads on your blog determined by the keywords in your content. You make money when visitors on your blog click on these ads. You get different amounts of money for each ad, usually just a few cents. You will not make much money with this method but it is super easy, because it is a passive way to make money.
2.
2. With all of the content you have posted on your blog you could make an e-book. If you have many posts on a single topic, you can organize it to make an e-book. E-books are simple to make. All you need to do is transfer your posts into any word processing software, and then convert that into PDF format and that's all you have to do to make an e-book.
3. Now you have to sell your e-book. Make a website to sell your new e-book. Purchase a domain name, web hosting, and design your website to sell. Use the money you made from the Google ad sense campaign to fund this new venture.
4.
Drive traffic to your website. Traffic is key to selling your e-book. The more traffic you drive, the more money you will make. Drive traffic to your site by writing articles and submitting them to the numerous article directories on the web. Don't forget to link to your e-book website with each article you write. You can make a lot of money with this method when the word gets out.

How to Find Pay
1. Become a superstar in your niche. Before you attempt to find pay-per-click advertisers for your website or blog, identify the top websites in your category. Learn from their mistakes and successes. Ask yourself what type of information that users want to read is missing on the popular websites. Create the type of content that web users want to read but cannot find online to separate yourself from competitors.
2. Add value to the online conversation by creating easy-to-read content that identifies your site to pay-per-click advertisers as desirable. Write content that solves problems, provides entertainment and makes the lives of your readers better. Create amazing articles and videos that can be bookmarked at popular social media sites.
3. Develop a website with an ad-friendly design. A pay-per-click advertiser or Google advertiser wants to be featured prominently on your website or blog. Create spaces to the left or right of your blog, above the fold, where ads are easily seen. Create a page on your website for advertising. Let advertisers know that you are actively looking for them and are ready and willing to serve their needs.
4. Build a minimum of 1,000 visitors per day. Prove to the advertisers that your website has a faithful stream of readers. Use link-building strategies and write search engine-friendly content to promote a steady stream of visitors to your website or blog. Use the Google ads located at the side of the search listing for keywords or potential sponsor choices. Contact these companies for small ads or affiliate deals.
5. Use the major online advertising networks to monetize your blog and get pay-per-click advertisers. Google Adsense, Widget Bucks, Shopzilla, Glam, Blog Ads and the Yahoo Publisher Network provide simple methods to infuse advertising into your blog design. The publishers provide widgets and HTML code. Money generated from these pay-per-click advertisers is paid via check or by PayPal monthly.
How to Find Converting Keywords
1. Launch a web browser on your computer, and go to the Google Insights for Search website.
2. Enter a keyword you are interested in using in the search field. Click 'search' to view the results. You do not have to enter a specific keyword. For instance, if you want to know about fuzzy slippers, you can just enter 'slippers' to see what comes up. Other keyword finding sites are available as well, such as Word Tracker and the Google Keyword Tool.
3. View the results page to identify high traffic keywords to target. If you scroll down to the 'Search Terms' part of the results, you can view the top related search terms as well as the top rising search terms. You can click on any of those keywords to get more information on that keyword or keyword phrase.

How to Set Up an URL for a Web Page
1. Purchase a domain name from a registrar. By purchasing a domain name, you will register it as your own and be able to control where the domain resides. There are many registrars available such as GoDaddy, Register.com, Enom, Network Solutions and Dream Host, to name a few. Many registrars also provide web hosting and vice versa. Domain names typically cost between $2.00 to $10.00. per year, as of 2010. '.com' is the most expensive; '.net,' .org,' and '.info' are progressively less expensive.
2. Open a shared hosting account with a web host. If your website becomes popular, you can upgrade to a VSP or dedicated server at any time. Depending on the registrar you purchase your domain from, you may be able to also host with them. Web hosts typically charge on per month basis and offer options for monthly and yearly payment options. Some of the web hosts available are GoDaddy, DreamHost, HostMonster and HostGator.
3. Redirect your domain's nameservers, also referred to as 'DNS,' to the IP address of your web host's nameservers. Your domain will have two nameservers, 'Nameserver 1' and 'Nameserver 2.' Your web host will provide you with an address for each nameserver. The addresses will look like, 'ns1.your-host.com' and 'ns2.your-host.com.' You will need to refer to your web host/registrar for the specific address and instructions on how to redirect your domain's nameservers.
4. Upload the files for your web pages. Log in to the cPanel on your hosting account and go to the 'File Manager.' Click on your domain name to be taken to the root folder for its directory. Upload the index.html file and other associated files for your website. You may also choose to use your host's script installer to install a website automatically for you, which will vary in procedure from host to host.
5. Wait at least 24 hours for the change to take effect. Once the redirection of the nameservers has completed, your domain name will now be the URL of your web page. For example, by typing 'http://your-domain-name.com' you will be taken to your web page.
How to Increase Google Adsense Income
1. Develop high-quality pages of content for your website. The better content you have, the longer viewers will stay on your site and the more likely they are to click on your ads. If your content is copied from other sites or if it doesn't hold your viewers' attentions, they will leave your site, and they are unlikely to return.
2. Choose high-paying keywords for your content. Visit the AdWords Keyword Tool. Click 'Traffic Estimator' and plug in some keywords related to your site, then click 'Search.' This will show you how popular these words are and how much a typical click costs the advertiser. This is a good estimate of how much money you would make every time someone would click on your AdSense for that keyword. Create more content that includes those keywords throughout the page.
3. Build your site traffic so that there are more potential ad clickers on your site. Build a social media presence on sites like Facebook and Twitter. Add friends and followers to each of these sites and begin to post links to your new pages as you create them. Intersperse these site updates with information about your personal life, since followers are more likely to click your links if they are personally invested in your and your site. Another traffic-building method is to get other sites to post links to your articles in trade for you posting links to their sites.
4. Place your largest AdSense block above the fold on all your pages. Placing an ad above the fold means that the ad can be seen by viewers as soon as the page loads without having to scroll down. This can increase the amount of times the ads are seen which may lead to more income.
5. Use multiple types of AdSense formats. There are text link ads, ad blocks and Google search ads. Place just one of these ads on each of your pages. While it may seem that placing multiple ads of each format on each page, it actually decreases the click-through value of all the ads on that page.
6. Experiment with your ad placement, colors and sizes. Since every website is different, each site may have a different ideal type of advertisement. For example, try one color scheme on half of your pages and then try another on the other half. Compare the results after a month and then adopt the color scheme that generated the most income. Continue to test your ads as your site grows, since even a small tweak can lead to major results.

7. Repeat for additional users you want to add.
Making Money With Google Trends
1. Register a blog or website, and monetize your Internet space with Google Adsense. This step is will neither cost you money nor will it be time consuming. In fact, Google offers users free blogs with its Blogger publishing platform, as does Wordpress. If you register for the Google Adsense program, you can arrange for small advertisements to appear on chosen webpages. Any time that visitors click on these ads, you will receive a certain amount of money. (These amounts vary depending on which ad is clicked and how much each advertiser is willing to pay site owners to promote its services.)
2. Refer to constantly updated data on Google Trends. The beauty of Google Trends is that it functions in almost real-time. This service provided by Google seeks to track user interest in common search terms. Thus, if you enter the words 'make money,' you will presented with a line graph that will chart the popularity of this term over the span of several years. However, by comparison, a search for the term 'making money' reveals a lower search volume. Thus, if you are trying to decide which of these terms to include in a blog post, you may want to use 'make money,' since it will probably bring more visitors to your blog and those visitors may decide to click on your Adsense ads.
3. Use Google Trends to assess your competition. In addition to supplying data about common search terms, Google Trends will also give you information about websites. This is valuable to you if you are seeking to make money with Google Trends, since you can discover how your competition is performing. Perhaps the websites you are studying have experienced peaks of traffic in the past, but have declined in popularity in the last few months. Thus, data from this application will help to remove mystery from the websites and allow you to see how they tick.
4. Gauge the value of time in Google Trends data. Time is a vital factor in advertising, and Google Trends is the best place to look if you are trying to assess the popularity of particular keywords over time. When choosing keywords for your writing, choose words with staying power, and not simply words that are popular for a few days before disappearing from the radar of Internet users. Study data and try to infer reasons why certain terms rise and fall in popularity.
5. Examine data on regions, cities or language to learn about the makeup of your audience. When you use keywords in your writing, you are targeting your work to specific readers. Ideally, these readers are English-speaking; however, they may speak other languages depending on the keywords you use. For example, Google Trends states that nearly as many people from Japan are entering term 'iPod' in Google search bars as from the United States. The more you know about your audience, the more you can target this audience with keyword-rich articles.

3. Keep looking for new partners to add to your program. Advertise your program by posting information on your website and listing in affiliate directories. Contact potential affiliates to see if they would interested in a partnership.
4. Take care of your partners once you have them. Continue to update them on product additions and discuss changes and the way the program is working. Remember to always pay on time and be reasonable in your offers. Negotiate the frequency of payments, hit per sale ratio and commissions associated with the affiliate program.

This program allows you to earn from specific videos on your account, without impacting the remaining videos.
4. Apply to be in the 'YouTube Partner Program.' This partnership monetizes all videos on your account, making each one eligible for earning. YouTube evaluates your application, while your account is scrutinized to see if it meets the criteria. If you have any of this content, remove it before applying, or wait to be invited into the Individual Program.

Kontera
Kontera is an in-text advertiser. It works by highlighting specific keywords in your website's articles and linking those to relevant advertisers.
Bidvertiser
Geared toward small business websites, Bidvertiser offers a low payout minimum payout of $10 as of August 2009.
Clicksor
Similar to AdSense, Clicksor utilizes its technology to target ads based on your content. It offers different ad formats, including in-text, banner and pop-unders.

How to Check the Status of an AdSense Application
1. Log on to the Internet and check your email account for any email from 'Google' or 'Google AdSense' specifically. Also check your email's spam folder for any possible missed emails from Google that will give you an update on the status of your Google AdSense application. The email from Google Adsense will contain either a letter of acceptance as well as login instructions or a letter of denial along with the reason why.
2. Log in to Google AdSense (google.com/adsense) using the email address and password you used when you applied to see if you are registered within the system. If you cannot access your account, it does not mean you were automatically rejected --- it may take additional time to add your name into Google AdSense's system. If you can successfully access your account and land on the AdSense user dashboard, your account is active and ready for use.
3. Contact Google AdSense by accessing the official Google Adsense website (google.com/adsense) if you have waited longer than you were told when you initially applied. Although you may not receive a response immediately, Google may be able to direct you in a direction to find the status of your application individually.

How to Prevent Site Theft
Preventing Content Theft
1. Check the search engines for stolen text or articles. Copy and paste a section of the original text into the search engine. Put the section of original text in quotes. Review the results of the search for other Web sites with very similar (plagiarized) content, or a copy of the exact text. Another option is to send the text, or the Web page URL, through CopyScape. This will bring up a listing of sites with a significant amount of words being copied.
2. Turn in Web sites guilty of copyright infringement. Contact the hosting company of any sites that have stolen your content. Send a copy of the content removal request to the owner of the site also. If you do not hear back from the hosting company within two weeks, report the site to Google's Spam Report, and other major search engines. If the content thief is using Google AdSense, or other PayPerClick services, for illegal activities (such as stolen content/images), report the site.
3. Disable copy, paste and right-click options. Insert JavaScript into your site to prevent copy, paste and right-clicking without your permission. Wordpress blog users can simply download plug-ins to automatically disable these options.
4. Create a clear policy that states your site does not tolerate content theft. Insert a 'Do Not Copy,' or 'Protected by CopyScape,' banner on every page of your site to scare off potential content thieves. Write a detailed section of text in your Privacy Policy indicating that the Web site is copyrighted, and not open to re-distribution.
Preventing Image Theft
5. Place a visual copyright watermark on your images. Image watermarks can range from a full symbol across the picture, to a small section of text in the corner of the image. Create a copyright watermark in Photoshop, or other image creation tool. Include the copyright holder's name, date of copyright, and the rights management (eg. Creative commons type license). Make the watermark slightly transparent to allow visitors of your site to clearly see the image.
6. Use a low resolution image to protect against image theft. Images that are 550 pixels, should be saved at 72 dpi when used on the Internet. This will prevent the image from being re-sized without creating a grainy effect.
7. Disable copy, paste and right-click options. Insert JavaScript into your site to over-ride browser clicks. Prevent downloads of images by placing pictures as a background to tables using CSS code. While right-click downloads will still be functional with this method, the downloaded image will appear transparent to the image thief.
8. Stop search engines from indexing your protected images. Insert a META tag to prevent search engines from indexing your images, while still allowing them to put the rest of the page in their search listings. JavaScript can be added into the root directory of the site to tell 'bots,' or spyders, to disregard the image directory of your site. All major search engines should honor your request to remove your images from public searches.
How to Measure AdSense Success
1. Log into your Google AdSense account. After login you will be directed to the main AdSense page where you are likely to see summary information including estimated earnings, recent traffic information and links to additional resources and reports. If your account is new, statistics generation may take a day or two after AdSense code has been added to your site.
2. Find the section titled 'Performance Reports'. This section is where you will find all the information you will need to track and manage your AdSense campaigns.
3. Locate the navigation links on the left side of the page. These links allow you to view your statistical data by day, week, month, and by various other categories as well, such as by specific ad unit, ad size, or custom channels you have already defined in AdSense.
4. View statistics for page views, clicks, and Page CTR (click through rate). These are the primary benchmark statistics you will want to track.
5. Gather statistics for clicks and page views for a period of time. If you are gathering statistics by month, collect several months' worth of data. Using a spreadsheet application, enter the monthly data in a way that allows you to view each month in chronological order.
6. Analyze the trends of your data by viewing from oldest to newest. If possible, create a graph that allows you to chart your numbers visually. This makes viewing trends easier. Healthy statistics will show upward movement, indicating that page views and clicks on paid advertising links are rising.
7. Review the CTR for the collected time periods. The CTR allows you to analyze page views and clicks together. The higher this number is the greater your AdSense success. Follow the trend of this number for the collected period. There may be ups and downs, not every period needs to show increased rates. However, the overall trend should be an upward climb.
8. Consider the analysis of each statistic collectively. If one statistic seems to be improving but another is lagging, determine what might be the cause. For instance, if page views are increasing but your clicks are going down, consider moving the ad to another spot on the web page. Positions at the top of the page will get the best visibility. Once you have considered all the data as a whole you can begin to make an assessment about their overall success, helping you make improvements where necessary to improve monetary effectiveness.

How to Create a Pay for Click Website
Building Custom Software
1. Create a database table with link records. Add database records to track how many times a link has been clicked on your website. Track any other relevant information, such as time and date of clicks and information about visitor.
2. Design a software module to track clicks. As a visitor clicks on a link on your website, the software module will record each click in the database and then redirect the visitor to the appropriate page on the advertiser's website.
3. Make website pages connected to the software module. In order for the software module to operate, it must be invoked by code on a website page. The code on your website pages specifies the software module name and also passes a value (or parameter) to the software module indicating which link has been clicked.
4. Test the website pages and software module. Once you've built the software module and website pages, access them via a web server, either on your local machine or on your website hosting account. If you are going to access the pages and software module on your website server, then you'll need to upload the page files and software files to your website server using an FTP utility.
Off-the-Shelf Software Approach
5. Select a pay per click software package. Choose a package that meets your needs. For example, select a package that will be compatible with the language your site is written and also compatible the database and type of hosting account that you are using.
6. Install the pay per click software package. This may be as simple as uploading files to your website hosting account, or may involve a more intricate process of actually installing software on your website server.
7. Configure the pay per click software. Select the settings you need for your website. Add your advertiser link records.
Publishing and Promoting
8. Publish the website. If your website is a hand-coded (written in HTML by hand) site, you'll need to transfer your page files to your website hosting account using FTP. If you are using a content management system, then simply publish your pages according to the instructions provided by your CMS publisher.
9. Track website clicks and charge your advertisers. Keep records of your clicks and provide reports to your advertisers.
10. Attract new visitors and advertisers. Use search engine optimization or other techniques such as pay per click to attract new visitors. Also, be sure that your website includes an invitation to new advertisers.
How to Identify an AdSense Account Code
1. Open the HTML document in a text editor.
2. Browse through the available code and look for a Javascript code that begins with '
3. Locate the 'google_ad_client' variable, usually located on the second line of the AdSense code. If you found it, then you are looking at the AdSense account code. The 'google_ad_client' lists the publisher ID, which is unique to each AdSense account.
4. Locate the 'google_ad_slot' variable. it is the unique reference number for the specific ad slot the publisher has set up.
5. Find the 'google_ad_width' and 'google_ad_height' variables. These numbers indicate how tall and wide the ad display is.
How to Find the Owner or Publisher of a Website
1. Look at the bottom of the web page for the copyright information. Websites that are protected by copyright include the icon at the bottom of the screen. You can usually find the owner or publisher name at the bottom of the page next to the copyright icon.
2. Search the Whois database. When a domain is registered with a domain registration company, its information is included in the Whois database. Simply enter the domain name into the search field. The Whois database is protected by a security key, which is used to prevent automated systems from accessing the database. You need to enter the security key before the owner information will be displayed. The registrant's name will be shown along with the Whois agent contact information.
3. Use the website's Contact Us page. Many websites include their contact information. Most websites use a contact form in order to keep their email private. However, some websites simply list an email in their contact information. In the form, request additional information on the owner or publisher of the website. Provide a contact email in order to get a response.

The Best Templates for AdSense With WordPress
ProSense Theme
The ProSense theme was released in May of 2007 and is available for download at no cost to the user. ProSense is available in three colors: beige, blue and gray. By default, there are three columns: a body section and two sidebars to the right of the body. This theme is popular with AdSense members because of three main factors: fast performance, flexibility and ease of use. The fast loading times are due to the minimal file size of the entire page; the web browser has less to download and thus displays the page quickly. ProSense is flexible because of its overall layout. Premium themes that carry a high price tag are expected to have a widget or option for every single bell and whistle possible. All of those features tax the loading time of the page. Since ProSense is free, its users aren't looking for those elaborate features -- performance is what they want. ProSense is great for AdSense because it is extremely simple to add any kind of AdSense ad virtually anywhere on the page. The theme has a set of templates that are made for every type and size ad that AdSense offers. All the user has to do is copy and paste her AdSense code into the correct one.
StudioPress Pro Plus Package Theme
The Pro Plus Package Theme from StudioPress is what's known as a 'premium' theme. The main differences between premium and non-premium are price and features. The Pro Plus Theme is extremely flexible and gives the user the ability to create a truly unique design with her blog. The features enable the blog owner to easily implement content of any kind without spending hours trying to get it just right. At a price tag of almost $300, it can pay for itself rather quickly when using AdSense in combination with it. Much like ProSense, it allows easy implementation of any type of AdSense ad, but with ProSense the user has to manually edit raw HTML code to change the ads; with Pro Plus the ads can be edited inside the Wordpress Dashboard directly. This flexibility and ease of use contribute to getting better conversions on the user's AdSense ads.
The Cutline Theme
The Cutline theme for Wordpress is also regarded as a great platform for AdSense users. The different versions, such as black-and-white and three column, give it enough flexibility for the user to create her own unique blog design. Bloggers who use Cutline have found it to be highly optimized for search engines, more so than even ProSense sometimes. The exact reason is not clear but it is likely do to the quick loading times in combination with the CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) codes that are used. Instead of using mostly HTML tables to design the theme's layout, CSS makes up the bulk of the design parameters, and CSS is faster.
Unsupported Conclusions
Anyone who has used AdSense on their blog knows that the only way to make a lot of money with it is to have a large amount of traffic, and the traffic should be relevant and targeted. Newcomers who start a Wordpress blog and then work hard at promoting it for two or three months get frustrated and sometimes blame their negative results on the theme they are using. A good performing theme like ProSense is an easy scapegoat because it is free and popular among spammers. Remember that a theme is just a design. A blog with the most expensive theme in the world but no traffic will not make a cent; the traffic must be part of the mix for the blog to make money.

How to Build a Free Website
1. Locate a free website hosting company on the Internet. Take the time to read and compare services from different providers. Wordpress is a wonderful host for creating a personal website to share with friends and family (see Resources below). It is easy to use and has a variety of templates for you to use. You can easily add pages to your main page and it looks great. You can't, however, place adsense or commercial products on these free sites.
2. Consider Squidoo if you wish to promote your work on the Web or want to feature commercial products (see Resources below). Squidoo will provide you with adsense, which enables you to earn money according to the number of people who click on your adsense ads or make purchases through those ads, and access to Amazon and eBay auctions, again allowing you to earn money if others purchase the items through your link. You are allowed to add links anywhere you wish and you can advertise commercial products. The templates feature a number of modules that you can arrange in any order you choose. The downside is that a Squidoo site contains all information on one long page that readers must scroll to read. Sign-up is quick and easy and does not require a credit card or incur any fees.
3. Check out Bravenet for another host that allows commercial endeavors and is easy to use (see Resources below). You can create multiple pages that can be accessed from the main page. Bravenet offers a variety of ad-ons like adsense and access to commercial products. Signup for this site is completely free; however, you can purchase a service that provides more options, if you choose.
4. Consider blogging sites if you just want to communicate with the world. These range from social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook to a wide variety of other blogging communities (see Resources below). These sites provide templates, so creating the look and feel you want is fairly easy. Both sites provide easy access to groups and make it easy to keep in contact with large groups of people. Most also have the added feature of creating either a public or private blog to limit access to those who you personally invite. Sign-up for their services is generally quick and easy and is free.
5. Be sure the host you choose meets your individual needs and always follow the guidelines for that particular host. If commercial use is prohibited, trying to run a commercial site will only get you banned from their service. Read the user agreement thoroughly and review other sites hosted by them prior to choosing a host.
How to Create a Paid Podcast
1. Obtain a commercial sponsor, preferably a major corporation or large business. This is the best way to generate revenue for your podcast.
2. Solicit donations from listeners.
3. Place advertisements on your Web site or blog. Google AdSense is one way to accomplish this goal. AdSense places ads on your Web site. Each time someone clicks on an ad, you receive a fee.
How to Make Money on the Internet Without Joining Paying Anything
1. Advertise digital products. Manufacturer's and promoters pay commission for sales. Clickbank.com is a popular clearinghouse where you can search for digital products to promote that will pay you sales commission. You don't have to pay anything to promote the products, but you do need to establish a free affiliate account (see Resources). Write emails and post articles relating to the product in lieu of paying for advertisement.
2. Monetize a free blog with search engine ads and affiliate ads. Select products from a digital product clearinghouse and place ads on your blog. Create a free search engine ad account with Adsense (see Resources). Once your account and blog is approved, ads relating to your posts will run on your page. Research keywords that fit your blogs content and then promote your blog through free article marketing, free forum posts and backlinks--when readers click the ads or purchase the digital product through your link, you will earn money.
3. Set up a free blog and accept jobs from websites that pay you to post. Posts range from promotional material to product reviews. You'll need to set up an account with the pay-for-blogging sites, but you do not need to pay anything to accept jobs from them.
4. Work as a freelance editor, writer, website designer, photographer or filmmaker. Visit forums that specialize in freelance position discussions and you can determined which companies offering freelance work are a good fit for you. If a website or forum asks for money to help find freelance positions, move on to a different site.
5. Make money from the Internet as a virtual assistant. Virtual assistants offer administrative, marketing and customer service skills to small business, large corporations and other entrepreneurs. Search for virtual assistant positions by visiting work-at-home forums to learn about companies and openings (see Resources).1

5. Determine the sizes of ad blocks you want to place on your web pages. AdSense provides a wide range of different ad block sizes for you to choose from.

7. Copy and paste the code provided by AdSense into your web pages. AdSense will determine the ads served by matching ads with the content of your pages.
Affiliate Marketing
8. Join an affiliate network like ClickBank.com, NeverBlue.com or ClickBooth.com. These companies offer a wide range of products and services for sale on an affiliate basis. For every sale generated by traffic from your website you will be paid a portion of the sale or a fee for generating a lead.
9. Identify the affiliate programs you wish to promote. Select programs that appeal to the demographics of your website visitors in order to maximize your revenue.
10. Place ads on your website. Most affiliate programs provide a selection of banner and text ads available for use by affiliates. Choose the ads that fit the ad space available on your website and that appeal to you.
11. Split-test the ads on your website. Rotate two ads in the same ad space and measure the response of each of the two ads. After you have received 30 clicks or more on each ad, you will have enough data to decide which ad converts better. Remove the other ad and run the winning ad full time.
Good Jobs for Writers
Online Content
Writers can write for online magazines, website owners or create their own websites or blogs, which can make money with Google Adsense, which displays ads on your website. An overview of Google Adsense is found in the Reference section. Writers can find many online opportunities by word of mouth or by becoming members of online writer's forums. The market for writers online is endless, but you do need to know how to market yourself to potential clients to compete with other online writers.
In-house Content
Newspapers, magazines and publishing houses look for writers with a flair for creativity. Newspaper and magazine writers can cover sports, festivals or a number of other events. Book authors can write and publish hard cover or paperback books or e-books that are sold online. Writers can also work for companies writing press releases, sales copy or grant proposals.
Editors
Many editors begin their careers as writers or through internships with well known companies. Editors will edit work that is submitted by writers and make any needed corrections or send the work back to the writer for corrections. Editors can work in-house for a company or telecommute. An example of careers in the editing field include executive editors, managing editors and assistant editors.
Qualifications
Qualifications can vary depending on the type of writing that you are doing. Typically, staff editors and writers for newspapers will be required to have a degree, but a freelance writer may not be required to have a degree if she can produce quality articles with search engine optimization knowledge. If a writer wants to be an expert in one field and write about it, a college education in that field may be needed.
Earnings and Job Outlook
The job outlook for writers is competitive, but, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as newspapers and magazines move their focus to online resources the job industry will open up more writing jobs. Earnings for a writer will vary. Compensation typically depends on the type of writing that you are doing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics lists the median wage for a writer in May 2008 at $53,070 per year. The typical range of pay for a writer is between $38,150 and $75,060 per year, with 10 percent of writers making $28,020 or less. A freelance writer will earn what he negotiates for his work, but generally will not have benefits such as health insurance as a full-time writer would with a company.
