How to Earn More with AdSense

1. Attract relevant ads by keeping the keywords on your website thorough. For example, if your website is about 'international adoption' and you frequently use the word 'adoption' you may get ads for lots of different types of adoptions, including pet adoptions. It's best to use the complete term, 'international adoption.' This way you will get relevant ads that pertain to your reader's interests.

2. Place your Google AdSense ads strategically near your content. As people are reading your content, they will look at what is nearby, but they will not scroll down the screen to look at an ad.

3. Try blending your ads in with the background on your website. People are sometimes less likely to click on an ad that looks like an ad, but if it looks like a part of your website, they may click. Google AdSense provides different palettes that will allow you to change the format of the ad.

4. Create pages with content that has great value to your reader. The more the reader gets from your page, the more likely he is to click on one of the Google AdSense ads. If your page does not provide new information, then the reader is less likely to click on the ad.

5. Consider placing ads near the top left of your screen. There is research to suggest that this is where people look first when they go to a website.

6. Use the Google AdSense preview tool to see how your ad looks before you put it on your site.

Honest Ways to Make Money Online

Websites or Blogs

If you build several blogs or websites and place AdSense ads on the sites, you will earn money whenever someone clicks on the ads. To make a large amount of money with this method, you need to build a lot of sites. Many people build one or two AdSense sites per week. If you have 100 sites making one dollar per day, you will make $100 a day.To start, create a blog on a commercial blogging site or host your own blog by getting hosting, a domain name, and uploading a WordPress template. Update your blog regularly so visitors will keep coming back. Sign up for an AdSense account and put ads on the site.

Writing

Many webmasters need people to write for their site. Go to webmaster forums such as Digital Point, Warrior Forum or Site Point. Click on 'Marketplace,' or go to the classified ad section and put up your own classified ads. Mention the price you charge to write articles. Respond to people quickly when they answer your ad and deliver the work on time.

Selling Services

Go to job sites or other locations where people post their services for sale and offer your skills, abilities and labor for a fee. Wait for people to contact you asking for your services. To get ideas for services you can offer, look at what other people are already providing for their clients. Don't accept jobs that are beyond your skill level or that you do not reasonably believe you can complete at an acceptable level of quality.

How to Earn Money for a Blog

1. Sell advertising space to business that sell products or services related to your blog topic. Advertising banners vary in size and price. Some blog templates already have space for advertisements to be inserted, while other blogs not equipped with these spaces, required the blogger to create the code to insert the advertisements. Often the buyer will create the graphical ad and provide it to the blogger to be inserted.

2. Sign up with existing advertising programs such as GoogleAds, WidgetBucks and TextLinks. The way each program works varies, but the general idea is that advertising relevant to your blog topic is placed on your blog by the company you are working with (ex. GoogleAds). The author of the blog then gets a sum of money per click or per-thousand impressions. The more viewers you have, the more potential there is to make money.

3. Join an affiliate program which posts products for sale that are related to your blog topic. Each time someone purchases something through that blog, the author gets a portion of the funds.

4. Add items to your blog that are for sale. For example, sell merchandise with your blog's name, create an e-book and charge for it or design a teleseminar or class and see how many people you can get to enroll.

5. Add a donation button to a blog. This will allow readers to donate the amount of money that they designate to go toward the author for their efforts.

How to Buy Website Traffic

1. Create a website that earns as much per visitor as possible. Test several versions and compare which pays the best. A close record of your performance with a particular website will also be a good baseline to compare with the results of any new traffic you buy. If click-through-rates or earnings per visitor suddenly slide dramatically way down--or way up--you can guess the website traffic you bought was either poorly targeted or, worse yet, too good to be true, indicating the possibility of click-fraud.

2. Compare what various companies that sell web traffic have to offer. Check for the obvious complaints online, but also see if they offer references of satisfied customers. References are particularly useful if the customers operate websites similar to yours. Also see how they target visitors, and make sure it's legal (no unsolicited spam) and consistent with a way you think would benefit your site. Take time to consider whether you could do a better job purchasing banner ads or running a similar advertising campaign yourself, to generate a similar increase in visitors by paying for ads directly. If buying website traffic seems like the best solution, find out the minimum you can spend, whether refunds are available (usually not), how you can set a budget of traffic per day, and how to stop a campaign if it's not working.

3. If you decide to buy website traffic, start as small as possible and watch your statistics closely. See if the new traffic is performing well enough to be profitable. In a worst-case scenario, if there's any sign of click-fraud, notify your ad server of unusual click activity, so you won't be blamed., and end the campaign, but that's not likely if you've chosen your website traffic seller wlell. A more likely possibility is that the new traffic just won't perform as well as the more-targeted website visitors you had before. If so, you can try changing your website to make it more attractive to a general audience. On the other hand, if the new website traffic you buy is performing well, you can continue to purchase more and set your budget higher if you want.

How to Use Brand Names in Adword Ads

1. Read over the terms of your affiliate agreement, if you are creating an add to sell an affiliate product. Typically the affiliate agreements will list what terms and brands you are allowed and not allowed to use in any pay-per-click ads. If you use a brand name and the affiliate agreement expressly forbids it, you can be dropped from the affiliate program.

2. Create your AdWords ad from within the Google AdWords console. Include the brand name if it is mentioned on your website. Otherwise, you should include it just in your keyword list, which will trigger the ad to show when people search for that brand name. Do not write anything inflammatory about the brand in your ad because the trademark owner can lodge a complaint with AdWords and have the ad taken down.

3. Submit your ad for placement and enter your payment details in the Google AdWords console. Google reviews all ads before letting them go live in the search engine results. If you are a reseller or have an informational site, you should have no problems running ads with brand names in the text.
