How to Transfer Email to a Different Server

1. Log into your email account in the server that you are looking to transfer to. So if you are transferring from Yahoo! to Gmail, log into your Gmail account.

2. Click on the 'Settings' or 'Option' button for your email address and then click the 'Accounts' or 'Accounts and Imports' button to look at the accounts.

3. Click on the 'Import from another account' or 'Add account' buttons and then type in the log-in information for the account that you want to transfer the emails from. In the example given, you are transferring from Yahoo! to Gmail so you will need to type in your Yahoo! log-in information.

4. Wait for the server to transfer all of the contacts and email from the old server (Yahoo!) to the new server (Gmail).

How to Setup CB Storefront

1. Register a CB Storefront account, then purchase one of the templates listed on the site. All of these templates can be previewed on the various sites that offer CB Storefront accounts. Some CB Storefronts can be brought as part of a package, which gives you access to a suite of different templates.

2. Access your account and open your 'Templates' tab. Expand or click the link to take you to the code sample for your template. This code may be HTML, XML, CSS or PHP, depending on the sophistication of the CB Storefront site. Follow any special instructions listed carefully. Highlight the code, which should be in it's own dialog box, then press 'CTRL+C' to copy it.

3. Paste this code into your website's code, either in a stand-alone module or directly into the HTML stylesheet. Upload this by FTP to update your site in real-time. Most modern websites use scripting languages to embed or incorporate external elements into a website design, and the pre-selected code accounts for this with a stand-alone script that refers to the appropriate service providers.

How to Start a Blog Page and Make Money

1.

BLOGSPOT.COMOr if you prefer, Blogger.com. They're both the same thing, doesn't matter which one you use. So go sign up for a blog at Blogspot.com. It's completely free, and you'll be blogging your brains out in no time. There are tons of places to get your own blog, but I recommend Blogspot because it's owned by Google, and that makes it really easy to set up AdSense for your new blog. What is AdSense? It puts those small Google advertisements onto your blog. This is good, because you make money when people click on the links! Not bad for a free blog, huh?

2.

PICK YOUR URLThe next step is picking your new blog's URL, or the address people type into their web browser to pull up your blog. If you're using Blogspot like you should be, your blog's URL will be YOURBLOGHERE.blogspot.com, and that's super.Don't sweat it too much, because you can always change your blog's name whenever you want. But the best idea is to find a good title and a good URL and stick with them. Changing your URL and title will only confuse people who may be trying to keep up with your blog, and drive away repeat readers.Try to make the URL simple. This can be hard sometimes because there's tons of people using Blogspot, and there's a really good chance that SteveSmith.blogspot.com has already been taken. So you have to think of something else.

3.

THEME ITIt's good to have a general theme for when you start a blog, so think of a topic you have a lot to say about and use that as your new blog's title. An example is like, if you decide that your new blog is about surfing, then name your blog SurfSpot.blogspot.com. If it's already taken then think of something else, such as calling it TheOriginalSurfSpot. This is one of my favorite tricks, because it makes your blog look like the real deal while that other guy's surfing blog is left out in the cold. Take that, beach bum.

4.

CHOOSE A TEMPLATENext up is picking a template for your new blog. Blogspot calls their site 'push button publishing,' and you're about to find out why. You can change your layout whenever you want, and it's a good idea to come back later and reevaluate your template after a couple weeks after you start a blog. But for now just pick something you don't totally hate. Don't get sucked into analysis paralysis or else you may never actually write a single word in your new blog. Boom, boom, boom - that's the way to get this done.

5.

NEW POSTAfter you verify your e-mail address and all that, now it's time for the party. Log in to your new blog and click on New Post. This brings up a terrifying blank screen and a blinking cursor staring you dead in the face. Get on it, schlepprock. This isn't Hamlet here, it's blogging. And it's your first blog post, so don't expect anything great. Just write something. Introduce yourself and your blog and outline what you hope to accomplish. The goal is to write and forget about it. You'll hone your blogging skill as you go, but the only way to get better at blogging is to keep blogging.

6.

STAY ON TOPICThis is one of the newest things I have learned, and it can be one of the most difficult. You don't want to be posting a bunch of stuff about your new toy poodle on your Original Surf Spot blog. The reason treads on complicated ground, with a lot of ins and outs about search engine optimization (SEO). But the general idea is you want your blog to be solid. At first your blog probably won't show up anywhere near the first few pages of search results when someone searches for 'surfing blogs,' but after a long stretch of continually posting original content about surfing, your surf blog will creep its way up the list towards the coveted number one spot on Google! But if you're posting about different topics all over the place, someone who clicks on your blog looking for surfing information probably won't stick around and definitely won't come back to your new blog.So if you want people to actually read your blog, keep it fairly focused on a single topic.

7.

POST ITClick on the button to post this sucker, and there you have it: your very first blog post on your very own blog! And that's something to write home about, because lots of people don't have the balls to do what you just did.Now blog it out the wazoo, son!

8. MAKING MONEYNow if you're going to start making money with your blog, the best thing to do first is set up Google AdSense on your page. Do a Google search for 'setting up Google AdSense on Blogger,' and you'll find many guides that will walk you through the process of signing up for and installing AdSense on your new blog.

How to Make Money by using a Blog

1.

1, One of the easiest ways to make money with a blog is to sign up with Google Adsense. Google Adsense will place ads on your blog determined by the keywords in your content. You make money when visitors on your blog click on these ads. You get different amounts of money for each ad, usually just a few cents. You will not make much money with this method but it is super easy, because it is a passive way to make money.

2.

2. With all of the content you have posted on your blog you could make an e-book. If you have many posts on a single topic, you can organize it to make an e-book. E-books are simple to make. All you need to do is transfer your posts into any word processing software, and then convert that into PDF format and that's all you have to do to make an e-book.

3. Now you have to sell your e-book. Make a website to sell your new e-book. Purchase a domain name, web hosting, and design your website to sell. Use the money you made from the Google ad sense campaign to fund this new venture.

4.

Drive traffic to your website. Traffic is key to selling your e-book. The more traffic you drive, the more money you will make. Drive traffic to your site by writing articles and submitting them to the numerous article directories on the web. Don't forget to link to your e-book website with each article you write. You can make a lot of money with this method when the word gets out.

How to Find Pay

1. Become a superstar in your niche. Before you attempt to find pay-per-click advertisers for your website or blog, identify the top websites in your category. Learn from their mistakes and successes. Ask yourself what type of information that users want to read is missing on the popular websites. Create the type of content that web users want to read but cannot find online to separate yourself from competitors.

2. Add value to the online conversation by creating easy-to-read content that identifies your site to pay-per-click advertisers as desirable. Write content that solves problems, provides entertainment and makes the lives of your readers better. Create amazing articles and videos that can be bookmarked at popular social media sites.

3. Develop a website with an ad-friendly design. A pay-per-click advertiser or Google advertiser wants to be featured prominently on your website or blog. Create spaces to the left or right of your blog, above the fold, where ads are easily seen. Create a page on your website for advertising. Let advertisers know that you are actively looking for them and are ready and willing to serve their needs.

4. Build a minimum of 1,000 visitors per day. Prove to the advertisers that your website has a faithful stream of readers. Use link-building strategies and write search engine-friendly content to promote a steady stream of visitors to your website or blog. Use the Google ads located at the side of the search listing for keywords or potential sponsor choices. Contact these companies for small ads or affiliate deals.

5. Use the major online advertising networks to monetize your blog and get pay-per-click advertisers. Google Adsense, Widget Bucks, Shopzilla, Glam, Blog Ads and the Yahoo Publisher Network provide simple methods to infuse advertising into your blog design. The publishers provide widgets and HTML code. Money generated from these pay-per-click advertisers is paid via check or by PayPal monthly.

How to Find Converting Keywords

1. Launch a web browser on your computer, and go to the Google Insights for Search website.

2. Enter a keyword you are interested in using in the search field. Click 'search' to view the results. You do not have to enter a specific keyword. For instance, if you want to know about fuzzy slippers, you can just enter 'slippers' to see what comes up. Other keyword finding sites are available as well, such as Word Tracker and the Google Keyword Tool.

3. View the results page to identify high traffic keywords to target. If you scroll down to the 'Search Terms' part of the results, you can view the top related search terms as well as the top rising search terms. You can click on any of those keywords to get more information on that keyword or keyword phrase.
