How to Measure CTR in Natural Search
1. Create Google and Windows Live ID accounts if you do not already have them.
2. Add your website to your Google and Bing Webmaster Tools accounts.
3. Confirm that you own or manage the website by following the instructions for each search engine. To verify your website on Bing, upload an XML file containing your verification code to your website or publish the code on your website’s home page by adding it to a meta tag. After adding the code, click the 'Verify My Site Now' button in Bing Webmaster Tools. For Google, choose from the four available methods: add a DNS record to your domain's registration, use your Google Analytics account, upload a provided HTML file to your website or add a special meta tag to your website's home page. Follow the instructions and click the 'Verify' button to complete the process.
4. Wait for Google and Bing to begin collecting information from your website. Bing indicates that you should allow up to 72 hours before search result information becomes available.
5. Navigate to the sections of the Google and Bing tools that display your search statistics. In Google Webmaster Tools, go to the 'Search Queries' page. In Bing’s tool, visit the 'Rank and Traffic Stats' page.
6. View the CTR for each search term that resulted in your website appearing in search results. Check your CTR periodically to see how changes to your ads affect their effectiveness.
How to Get Approved for Google AdSense
1. Purchase a domain name, sign up for a web hosting subscription and set up a website. Or register an account with a free blogging or website platform where you have access to edit the HTML portion of your site, such as Blogger, Doodlekit or Weebly.
2. Think about and research topics for your website. Decide if you want to focus on a huge category (e.g., health and nutrition) or specialize in a smaller niche (e.g., the organic food niche within health and nutrition). Go online to tools that offer insight into Internet search trends, such as Google Trends, Pandia, Yahoo Buzz, Trendpedia and Microsoft adCenter Labs. Type in a topic or category to determine the topic's general popularity on the Internet.
3. Narrow down the topics for your website. Select a topic that is not prohibited by Google's AdSense program policies. Google won't approve your site for AdSense if it condones violence, gambling, drugs and alcohol, contains adult content, copyrighted material or hacking content, offers 'get paid to' program schemes or promotes other illegal activities.
4. Write articles and/or blog posts related to your topic. Place this content on your site, devoting each page to a single article or blog topic. This results in a targeted website, which helps Google's crawlers to determine what your page is about. Targeted pages also can increase your AdSense success since Google will target ads based on your site's content. Add videos and images to your website to attract readers and so that your site contains something else besides written content.
5. Go to the Google AdSense website (See Resources) and click the 'Sign up Now' button. Enter your website's primary URL (e.g., www.example.com) in the space provided. Type your full name -- the name in which you can accept checks from Google AdSense -- in the 'Payee' field. Enter a valid, complete mailing address and a valid email address at which you want to receive communication about your AdSense application and account. Hit the 'Submit Information' button and wait for Google to review your application.
How to Use Google AdSense
1. Open an AdSense account by signing up with Google and applying to the AdSense program in the My Account area. It is free to sign up with Google, though not everyone who signs up for AdSense is approved. If you don't yet have a website on which to place AdSense ads, sign up for a Blogger account through the Google My Account section and start a blog. That will give you a URL to use when applying for an AdSense account.
2. Choose your Google AdSense options once you have an account. Design each block of ads to create a line border or an open border, a color background or no color, etc. Select the basic size and shape of your Google ads block. Pick either a horizontal block of ads or a vertical block. Each block will have one to four ads on it, depending on the size that you choose.
3. Generate your AdSense ad code — a JavaScript code that may be added to most websites. There are some website hosts that aren't equipped for the code to be pasted onto their sites when using their page builders. BlueHost is one such web host. Some sites, including Blogger, HubPages and Google hosted sites, have a built-in widget to easily add Google Adsense to the sites by simply choosing a spot to place the ads and allowing the site to add the code.
4. Use the text on your page to guide the type of ads that will be shown by Google. AdSense ads are chosen by Google, and you will not be able to hand pick which ads appear on your page. Google advertising runs on relevant ads that are chosen based on the keywords that appear on your page. By choosing plenty of keywords that are relevant to the subject matter of your page, you will ensure that the ads will match up well with your subject matter. To get ideas for keywords, use an online keyword tool like WordTracker to find relevant terms.
5. Keep adding content pages that are monetized with Google advertising. The minimum payout for Google AdSense is $100, so it often takes several months or longer before a new AdSense user reaches it. But, by steadily adding pages, by — for example — frequently updating a blog, your payouts will become more and more frequent.
How to Put a Clickable Ad in an Email
1. Sign up for an ad network company such as Google Adsense, Adbrite or another one. There are many to choose from. Once you sign up, familiarize yourself with how to create an ad.
2. Create an ad space that is of suitable size and color that you want to insert into an email. You can select banner sizes, squares, buttons and leaderboards or more.
3. Highlight the HTML code representing your ad space. Copy it by right-clicking it and selecting 'Copy' or 'Cut.'
4. Compose the email you want to use for your ad space.
5. Select a place to insert the ad code in your email, such as between a couple of paragraphs. You can also put it above your message or below it. Right-click the area and click 'Paste.' This pastes the HTML code of your ad into the email. Looking at it doesn't show the ad, but that is OK. Send the email. Most email clients allow the readers to read HTML in their emails.
How to Reinstate a Facebook Page
1. Log in to Facebook with the email and password from your original account. After logging in, a reactivation email is sent to the email address on your account.
2. Check your email account fro the reactivation email from Facebook. It may take up to 15 minutes to receive the email.
3. Click the reactivation link in the email. Your Facebook account is reactivated.

Difference Between Google Adwords Google Adsense
Google AdWords
AdWords is the part of Google's advertising program used by people advertising a product or website. With AdWords, users can advertise products on both the Google search page as well as other websites that use Google AdSense.
Google AdSense
AdSense is the other half of advertising with Google. AdSense allows website owners to place ads on their website, which are automatically chosen by Google's selection algorithm. Website owners are paid both per-click and per-impression. Ads can either be graphic, or simple text ads.
Bidding
Google selects ads to maximize the earnings of both Google and AdSense users with an algorithm based on a combination of target keywords and the ad's maximum bid. AdWords users create a list of related keywords and set the maximum price they are willing to pay per impression and per click. Google then attempts to find the best ad to display based on the bid and how likely potential customers will click it.
How to Make Money on Internet Click
1. Take advantage of the large database of Google advertisers by finding appropriate content for your website. Google then will select advertisements that are based on the content of your website, so you do not have to find the advertisers, yourself. The more advertising the Google selects for your website, the more money you will make.
2. Make sure that you control the advertisers that appear on your website. For example, without being too selective since it will limit how much you will make, avoid advertisement from companies that compete directly with each other. And constantly upgrade your website as it relates to the quality of advertisers whose messages appear there.
3. Make continuous improvements to your website to increase traffic, because visitors are looking for content that is relevant and easy to read. Your earnings depend on the volume of visitors to your website who click on the advertising that is there.
4. Join two or three online forums that are read by people who may be interested in the content contained on your website. Assume the role of expert by writing a brief version of information contained by your website, and ask them to visit it for the complete article. An active forum has members who ask questions which you should answer, but always make reference to a relevant article on your website. When you see that strategy working, consider finding other forums to join and make contributions.
5. Spend a lot of time on the design of your website to make it as useful and attractive as possible for your visitors. Though you can sign up for Adsense for nothing, you will spend money on the design of your website, the registration of your domain name, and monthly hosting fees of about $25. Your website will always be a work in progress, because you will discover ways to improve it, including implementing various features available for free at Adsense.

The Disadvantages of Advertising on Web Pages
Customer Defection
Most visitors to a website will not mind a few ads to support the website. However, certain ads are considered especially annoying. Pop-up ads are one type of advertisement that discourages visitors. In addition, banner ads that automatically play sound are also disliked. Advertisements that users find obnoxious could lead to defections to competitors' websites.
Search Engine Penalties
Placing too many ads on a website, with not enough content, may harm your Google ranking. In 2011, Google started taking action against 'low quality' websites, which are characterized by a low ratio of unique content to affiliate links. The algorithm classifies these kinds of websites as 'spam' and punishes their Google rank accordingly. Although the details of the algorithm changes are not publicly known, Google announced that it does not treat its own ads any different from competitors ads, so running Google ads will not negate ranking penalties.
Customer Resistance
One disadvantage of relying on advertising for income is that a certain segment of the consumer demographic has a strong distaste for ads, even unobtrusive ones. Some are willing to pay money to make them go away -- hence, the rise of subscription services that remove advertisements among other benefits -- but some will respond with ad-blocking programs such as NoScript. These ad-blockers can hurt advertisers and websites that sell ad space.
Malware And Trojans
Some ad providers do not sufficiently screen ads for potentially malicious software. Hosting these ads on your website may infect visitors to the site with malware. If the infection is traced to the specific site, your website may be blacklisted by search engines and Web browsers -- to say nothing of the damage to your reputation. Sites can remain blacklisted for days while the origin of the malware is tracked down, discouraging new traffic.
How to Find Where My Clicks Originated in Adwords
Basic URL Channels
1. Log into Google Adsense using your Gmail email address and password. Click on the 'Performance Reports' tab at the top of the screen and then on the 'URL Channels' in the menu to the left.
2. Create a new URL Channel to track clicks on sites, such as Hub Pages, Infobarrel and Bukisa, by clicking on the 'Add URLs to Track' button just below the graph showing this month's performance.
3. Type one URL per line in the window that pops up. Use short website addresses by removing the 'http://www.' Make sure your URLs read something like this: 'mywebsite.com,' 'mywebsite.com/pagename,' or 'thirdpartysite.com/articlename.'
4. Close the window once you've finished adding your URLs. URLs along with data related to that URL will appear below the graph on your 'Performance Reports' page, once someone visits your page or when they click one of your ads. Make a note on what URLs get the most traffic and clicks. Use what you learn to increase the traffic to weaker URLs to get even more clicks.
Custom URL Channels
5. Log into Google Adsense by using your email address and password. Click on the 'My Ads' tab at the top of the screen and then on the 'New Ad Unit' button at the top of the page. Fill in the information for your new ad, such as its name, so you can identify its size, colors, text or image ads, and under what channel its data will appear.
6. Select a channel in the 'Custom Channels' box if you've made channels in the past, or click on the 'Create New Custom Channel' link sitting right above it. Use a name you'll remember. For example, if this add will be appearing on your personal site in the sidebar, name it 'Site name, Sidebar.'
7. Click on the 'Save' button on the bottom of the window to add your new custom channel. Notice that the ad you've just made is linked to that channel. So when a user visits that page or clicks on an ad, those stat will appear on your 'Performance Reports' tab beside the URL name 'Site name, Sidebar.'
8. Click on the 'Save and Get Code' button once you're finished and pass that code onto your blog or website. That code will communicate traffic and clicks to Google Adsense so you can get paid.
9. Keep track of what URLs or ad placements perform well. Find out if the deciding factor when it comes to clicks is the size of the ad, colors or placement. Use that data to create new ad channels for even more clicks and ad revenue.

How to Create a Free Business Website With BlinkWeb
1. Set up your account by registering at BlinkWeb (see Resources below). You can start building your site as soon as you're registered.
2. BlinkWeb is similar to many sites that provide free Web building and hosting in a number of ways. What are the similarities? It offers free hosting on a BlinkWeb subdomain or helps you buy your own domain for hosting the site. You can choose from a number of attractive templates. You can add a blog. You can add a number of pages with text, images and video.
3. How is BlinkWeb different from all the others? It's super easy to use. That's a nice plus. The templates and tools are all aimed at marketing. There are widgets that will insert forms and ads from Google and Google AdSense. There's a page type specifically for sales letters. The designs for the templates are business oriented.
4. Other features at BlinkWeb that you may find useful include being able to add your own meta information in the form of keywords and descriptions. The video tutorials are simple and clear if you don't instantly see how to accomplish some task. (You will probably instantly see how to do most tasks, since the interface is a quick drag-and-drop style workspace.)
How to Set Up a Website to Earn Cash
1. Set up your website as a blog or other informational site. Write about a topic that interests you or in which you have experience. This makes it easier to update the page and keep your motivation high. Update regularly to keep interest high and use a forum to allow comments. The more interested your readers are, the more likely they are to bookmark the page and come back for more.
2. Use Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to get your site at or near the top of search results. Using commonly searched keywords in your blog or articles will help search engines identify your content and its relevance. Don't force terms where they don't fit. Doing this can actually reduce the ranking of your site if search engines like Google catch on. Hire an SEO expert for quick optimization, but research them thoroughly to prevent damage to your site's ranking.
3. Sign up for Google AdSense or become an affiliate with a well-known Internet store, such as Amazon. AdSense will earn you cash every time a visitor clicks the ads on your site. Google makes money with each click and a percentage of that revenue is paid to you. Online marketplaces like Amazon.com will advertise products on your site and you earn a commission for each product that sells. If you sell over a certain amount each month, the pay percentage will increase.
How to Get Hits As an Amazon Affiliate
1. Create unique and engaging content to attract visitors to your website. No one wants to read a bland product description or overhyped claims of product performance. For instance, if you are promoting baking products, you could create an article entitled 'Top 10 Baking Mistakes' and link to baking products on Amazon. Write product reviews on your site that target the needs and questions of the average person directly, or post a video of an Amazon product in action. Avoid generic content visitors can find on any other website.
2. Use search engine optimization (SEO) to drive targeted traffic to your website. Identify keywords related to the Amazon products you are promoting and optimize your website to rank well on search engines for those terms.Use your keywords several times on your Web page, especially in headers, the HTML title tag and the descriptive 'meta' tags. Obtain back links from other websites with your keywords as the anchor text, or link title. Writing engaging content will help immensely with this.
3. Place affiliate links 'above the fold.' This Web advertising term refers to the first portion of your Web page visitors can see without scrolling down. Your affiliate links will be most visible here.
4. Place affiliate links within and around your content as well. According to Google, advertisements at the end of articles get more clicks. Each site is different, so move your links around to see where they perform best. Some Web analytics software packages can create a heat map of your website that shows where most visitors click.

How to Remove Encrypted Footer Links From WordPress Themes
1. Log in to your WordPress admin area. Click 'Appearance' from the large menu on the left, then click 'Editor.' The theme editor allows you to edit the theme's HTML files. Under normal circumstances, you could just go to 'footer.php' and delete the links in question; however, with encrypted links, this may cause the entire site to stop functioning. To get around this, you must replace the 'footer.php' file completely.
2. Click on 'index.php' and scroll to the bottom of the file. Locate the following line of code:
This tells WordPress to run all the code in the 'footer.php' file. Add the following lines of code above and below this line:
These are comment tags -- the site will ignore everything between the '
' tags. Click 'Update File' when done.
3. Load up your blog's main index page in a browser. Click 'View,' then 'View Source.' The HTML source code for this page appears. Scroll down and find the 'FooterStart' and 'FooterEnd' comment tags you just inserted. Copy all the code between these two tags to the clipboard.
4. Return to your WordPress admin window. While still in the Theme Editor, click 'footer.php' from the list on the right. Delete all the code in the file, then paste in the code you just copied.
5. Locate the links. In HTML, links look like this: 'Anchor text'. Delete all the links that you want to remove, then click 'Update File.'
How to Get Paid for a Social Site
1. Charge a registration fee. People always prefer free sites, but if you have something to offer that other social sites don't, people will pay to use it. You can offer a trial period or offer free registration or charge only for extra features.
2. Charge for banner space. If you have a lot of traffic, people will want to advertise their business on your site. Place a message on any page of your site to let visitors know about the option and add an 'Advertise with us' page with prices and other relevant information, including means of contacting you.
3. Sign up for Google Adsense or any other contextual advertising program. These programs use targeted marketing by searching for keywords and providing site owners with adds that are relevant to the content on their site. Site owners receive a payment every time a visitor clicks on an add. It's very easy to sign up and placing adds on your pages is as simple as copying and pasting pieces of code.
4. Sign up for an affiliate marketing program. There are many affiliate marketing programs available. These programs work similarly to contextual advertising, but instead of advertising ads, you promote products and services. Many affiliate programs require your visitors to actually buy the product or fill out a form for you to receive payment. Read the affiliate agreement thoroughly to determine which affiliate program is right for you.
5. Sell your site. If you built a social site and don't want to run it, offer it for sale. This is usually the last step, as you will most likely have to show proof of significant traffic and revenue to any potential buyer in order to get a decent offer. You can offer your site for sale on the site itself or through websites such as WebsiteBroker, DealaSite or even Ebay. Before you list it, do your research to determine how much your website is worth.
How to Donate Through Google Ads
1. Click the 'Donate Now' button on the ad. This will take you to the NPO's Google Checkout page.
2. Sign into your Google account. You need a Google account to donate this way. If you don't have one, click the 'Create an account now' link and follow the instructions to set one up.
3. Direct where you want your donation money to go. Note that not all NPOs have a Google Adsense account through which you can donate.
4. Enter your payment information in the following window, then click 'Next' to confirm the purchase.
5. Click 'Submit' to make your donation.
How to Embed Google AdSense Within Posts on WordPress
1. Use a Web browser to log in to Google AdSense. Click the 'My Ads' link, then click the 'Get Code' button beneath the ad you wish to embed in your content.
2. Copy the code to your systems clipboard, then click 'Close' to leave the dialog. Navigate to your WordPress blog and use the WP-Admin interface to log in.
3. Click the 'Posts' button, then click 'Edit' next to the post that is going to hold your advertisement. Click the 'HTML' button, then scroll down to where you wish to place the ad.
4. Paste the Google Ad code from your clipboard into your content, then click the 'Preview' button to see your changes. Move the code, in its entirety, until you find the proper placement for your content, then click the 'Publish' button.

Google Money Making Opportunities
How Adsense Works
Website owners place a piece of Javascript code on their websites to generate and display ads from the Google AdWords program. Google charges Adwords advertisers every time someone clicks on an Adsense ad, then pays a portion of the advertising fee to the owner of the website that hosted the ad.
Contextual Adsense Ads
The most common Google money making opportunity is Google Adsense, which is meant to be placed on individual web pages. Once a website owner has placed the Google Javascript code on his web site, Google's Context robot crawls the pages and selects ads that match the content of the page.
Other Google Adsense Programs
In addition to contextual Adsense, Google also offers Adsense for Search, Adsense for Mobile, Adsense for Feeds and Adsense for Domains. Other Adsense applications are being developed, as of 2009.
Potential
The money making potential of Google Adsense is dependent on a combination of many different things. In order to make a good income using Google Adsense, you should understand how to choose good keywords, how to position Google ads to be effective and how to attract traffic to your website. Many people make thousands of dollars a month through the Google Adsense program.
Cost
It costs nothing to create an Google Adsense account or to serve Google Adsense ads on your web site, RSS feeds and other Google applications.
Warning
Google has stringent guidelines for participation in the Adsense program. If a website is suspected of violating those guidelines, Google will often ban the website from the program and remove it from their search engine entirely.

Contextual Advertising Options
Google AdSense
The largest contextual advertising service is Google's AdSense Content Network. It consists of websites of small and large businesses that place advertising blocks with embedded JavaScript code on their sites. Google then uses its search algorithm to direct text-based, display and video ads to those blocks. Advertisers can use demographic targeting and other strategies to potentially increase revenue. Google places ads based on keywords as well as the location and languages of visitors. For example, a user in London is unlikely to see ads for a restaurant in Des Moines.
Microsoft adCenter
Microsoft's adCenter, leveraging its own Bing search engine and the Yahoo! search engine, is another contextual advertising option for businesses. Microsoft adCenter analyzes the content of a website to determine its meaning and then matches keyword-targeted ads to display on the page. The U.S. ads appear on exclusive content pages on the Microsoft Content Ads Network. Microsoft states that its ads are more relevant because the technology 'delivers relevant ads at the right time.' Advertisers who were on the Yahoo! advertising network have transitioned to the Microsoft network after the partnership agreement was announced in early 2010.
Other Options
Microsoft and Google dominate the online advertising market. However, there are other contextual advertising service providers. America Online's advertising and data insights arm is Advertising.com, which uses the AdLearn platform for ad placements and management. Kontera creates links within the text by adding double underlining to keywords that trigger pop-up ad bubbles. Clicksor is another contextual advertising service that claims to pay out 85 percent of the advertising revenues.
Trends
Technological advances continue to change the way contextual advertising is used and managed. Developers now try to determine age and consumer behavior from the sites they visit. Interactive video can also help businesses understand their consumers. Behavioral advertising may allow advertisers to tailor their ads based on the user's Web surfing habits in prior sessions. Publishers can select more than one contextual advertising company and multiple ad categories to potentially increase site traffic and revenue.

How to Have a Website on a Budget
1. I've written several eHow articles about sites that help you to create a website absolutely free. Some even host your pages on their servers free as well. Look for links to these articles in Resources below.
2. If you want regular websites with pages that don't change everyday, check out the services I've written about. Some of them include Edicy, Synthasite, SiteKreator and Tank.
3. Depending on the choice you make from the free website creators, you will be able to have a home page, inner pages, sometimes ordering forms or links to PayPal, forums, blogs, email and other assorted services. Decide what features you need and match that up with the available free creation and hosting sites.
4. If you want a blog, choose one that provides free hosting such as wordpress.com or blogger.com. Wordpress has the advantage of being able to create pages, just like a regular website, instead of being used as a blog. On Blogger you can make money with Google adSense ads.
5. Create an account with wordpress.com or blogger.com and start posting. Making the choice to use a blog means that you will post frequent updates.
6. Look for a site creation tool or blog that allows you to add widgets. Widgets can add things like Flickr photos, maps, RSS feeds and other useful elements to your pages.
How to increase your click through rate (CTR) with google adsense
1. Move your ads as close to your main content as much as your a comfortable with. Ads that are placed closer to the main content of the page tend to have a higher click through rate (on average).
2. Experiment with the color scheme and layout of the adsense ads. Ad formats which more closely match the overall look and feel of your website tend to do better on average. This may seem counterintuitive at first, as you might think that ads which stand out more are more likely to be clicked on. You can customize the text color, link color, background color, and border color of displayed adsense ads.
3. Focus your content on each page as much as possible. In other words, the more coherent the content on the page, the more likely that the ads which are displayed will be relevant to a visitor. The more relevant the ad, the more likely the user may click on the ad link to find other information.
4. If you are using Adsense on a blog, there are a number of extensions which can help increase earnings. For example, there are many free Wordpress plugins which further help manage your Google Adsense ads on your blog. You can customize your blog by showing more ads to the visitor when the visitor arrives via a search engine and/or visits a post that is older than a certain number of days. Visitors who visit a page from a search engine may be more likely than other types of users to click on an ad as they surf around. So consider using a plugin which offers even more possibilities for customization beyond simply changing the look and feel of the ads themselves.
5. Experiment by switching between text ads and image ads. You may find that you get a higher CTR on one or the other. This also helps you further find the right mix of text and graphics on your site, which may vary based on your content.

How to Add Ads to Tumblr
1. Decide how you're going to deliver ads on your Tumblr blog. You can sell ad space yourself by approaching businesses and other website owners directly, or by using an automated service that delivers ads for you. Services like Google AdSense at Google.com/AdSense and Project Wonderful at ProjectWonderful.com allow you to create ads on your page without interacting with businesses. Both services require you to apply and be approved before setting up ads.
2. Generate your ad code, if necessary. In Google AdSense you can create a new ad unit under 'AdSense Setup' > 'AdSense for Content.' Once you're approved as a publisher with Project Wonderful, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to set up your ad box.
3. Open your Tumblr's customization page by opening your Tumblelog -- clicking your username at the top of your dashboard -- and clicking the 'Customize Appearance' button. You can also visit the page directly at Tumblr.com/customize; if you have multiple blogs on Tumblr, append that URL with your username, e.g., Tumblr.com/customize/username.
4. Consider choosing a theme with a sidebar, over one that displays your description and HTML area at the top of the page. Sidebar layouts are more common with blog layouts and set the ads beside your content. You can choose from dozens of free themes under the 'Theme' button on the top navigation bar.
5. Click the 'Info' button and paste your ad code into the 'Description (or HTML and widgets)' box where you want the ad to appear. If you're using images hosted on the Web, either by yourself or the advertiser, you can create a basic image ad with a link and the image using:
6. Save your page when you're done.

Niche Marketing Tools
Websites
A website is the key to any successful online niche marketing project. Create the site with a specific product in mind, such as auto insurance, so you can reach a target audience. Build the website and add informational articles to it on a frequent basis to include targeted keywords. These help to drive traffic to the website through search engine results. To generate sales, the webmaster often becomes an affiliate salesperson to major companies and offers their products through his website. Every time a sale is made through the website, the webmaster earns a commission.
Mailing List
Mailing lists are a common tool for Internet marketing specialists and are utilized a means of specifically targeting individuals who regularly display 'buying signs' in an online capacity. Many online marketers will build a series of similar websites that offer products or services that are related. For example, a marketer who has previously sold tennis balls might start a niche selling golf balls. If a consumer has purchased tennis balls in the past, he will be placed on a mailing list and contacted with the opportunity to buy golf balls and any other related items that may arise in the future. Mailing lists can also exchange hands for high rates between individual marketers.
Google Adsense Account
Google Adsense is a powerful tool that allows Internet marketers to generate additional revenue from pay-per-click advertising. When you create an account Google supplies a free program that automatically displays target-related advertisements to niche markets. When a site visitor clicks on an individual advertisement, the webmaster receives a small payment. All clicks are accumulated on a periodic basis and the webmaster ultimately earns from an additional revenue stream. The more websites you own, the more revenue your Google Adsense account is likely to generate.
E Books
E books are an integral part of niche marketing, and you can use them in several capacities. Predominantly, an E book is sold as a resource containing key information that will be attractive to a specific niche market. However, many E books are sold with resale rights so other Internet marketers can sell the product themselves once it has been purchased. Some webmasters actually create their own E Books as a means of having a starting product to sell when they first venture into niche marketing.

How to Write Adsense Ads for Google
1. Create a Google AdWords account. Creating an account is free and easy, just go to the link in the 'Resources' section at the bottom. If you already have a Gmail account just use that as your login. Go to the Google AdWords homepage after registering for it.
2. Start a Google AdWords campaign. Keep in mind that these ads are not free. Advertising costs money, and for each time your ad is displayed you will be charged, although you can set the maximum amount you wish to pay each day. From the Google AdWords homepage, click on the 'Create online campaign' drop down menu in the upper right area of the screen. Click on the 'keyword targeted' option.
3. Configure the basic parameters of your advertisement. The first option is for you to name your advertising campaign. Name it something memorable that you will know with a glance. The other options are pretty self-explanatory, including what locations you want your advertisement to be displayed in, whether you want it displayed on mobile devices and how much you're willing to spend on it each day. Click on the 'Save and Continue' button at the bottom of the screen.
4. Organize and design your advertisement. At the top of the window, you need to create a group in which your advertisement will be in. If you need to write three different advertisements for the same website, it would be a good idea to put them inside the same group. After that, it's time for the design of the advertisement. There are five lines to write: the headline, two description lines, a display URL and a destination URL. These will be the actual words that are displayed on your advertisement, so choose them wisely based upon your advertising needs.
5. Select your keywords. After you've designed your ad, you need to tell Google when you want your advertisement to display. Scroll down to the 'Keywords' section. Choose your keywords carefully, but don't fret too much since you can change them later as needed.
6. Select your bids. Go to the 'Default bid' bar. This is how much you're willing to pay for your advertisement per user click. If you choose too little, your advertisement will never appear highly since you will be outbid. Google will attempt to always put your advertisement on the top of others advertisements until your 'Default bid' is reached, so if you set a higher default bid, then you have a higher chance at landing on top.
7. Save the ad group and configure payment options. When everything else has been selected, left click on the 'Save ad group' button in the lower right corner. If you have yet to put money into your Google AdWords account, Google will now ask you for that.

Website Advertising Tips
Branding
Just like traditional advertising methods, your website should properly reflect your business brand. The website should look professional, but have the same look and feel as all other messaging that you distribute. Branding should also be established through an easy to remember domain name that highlights your company name, products or services.
Online Advertising
Pay-per-click advertising through search engines such as Google or Yahoo can drive customized traffic to your website. This method of advertising can be cost effective because you only pay for customers who click on a target ad to reach your website. The customers who arrive at your website from pay-per-click advertising are more apt to be in the market for your goods and services than a random web surfer.
Communication Advertising
Every message you send out from your business through email, letters and offline marketing should include your website address. Providing your website address on routine communications helps your existing customers find and utilize your business website. This tip also applies to business cards.
Provide Quality Content
Your website should be more than just a static page listing your products and services. Include information, tips and related articles that keep your existing customers returning and helps reel in new customers. Helpful information keeps your website relevant, increases visibility and increases your credibility.
Create Interaction
Create customer interaction through your website. Beyond including phone number and contact information, your website should help you create a customer contact database. For example, you could have a contest, a free newsletter or a survey. This interaction keeps customers interested in your website and provides an opportunity to gather their contact information. Be sure to provide an opt-out option for future marketing to avoid making unwanted contacts.
Off-Line Publicity
Generate traffic to your website through off-line publicity. You could sponsor an event for a nonprofit organization, try to get a feature in a local business magazine or send out press releases for noteworthy business updates like a new product line or services. In all these communications, be certain to highlight your website address.
Reliability
Savvy customers want to buy from companies who provide reliable and secure online environments. Make sure to have a SSL certificate or other secure protocol enabled for any online purchase processes and prominently feature the security logo on your website. Also look into business reliability programs such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which can increase your customer's view on your business reliability both online and offline.

How to Advertise a Site on Game Sites
1. Find game sites that cater to the demographic your company targets. You don't want to advertise on a children's game site if you sell financial services. Find a game site where the players are your target audience.
2. Determine your advertising budget. More popular sites typically cost more than smaller ones, but you often reach many more people. A banner ad will cost more than a side bar or Google ad.
3. Find game sites that may be interested in affiliate sales on your site. Depending on your product, you may be able to create a deal where you do not pay unless a customer buys something. This reduces your outlay of cash and creates a win-win situation.
4. Contact the website or web ad agencies. If you are looking to be an affiliate or to place a banner ad, contacting the company directly is your best option. Ask to speak with someone in advertising sales. Online ad sites such as Google AdSense allow you to fill out an online questionnaire and submit ads to the search engines. You don't have as much control over your ad placement in this situation, though.
What Are the Top 10 Money
User Auctions
Two popular auction sites include eBid and eBay, with eBay being the largest. Some people earn a living with online auctions, especially with eBay, by selling large product volumes and becoming PowerSellers. Anyone can sign up for eBay or another auction website and sell personal belongings or even resell items bought from garage sales or flea markets.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketers sign up for individual affiliate programs or marketplaces such as ClickBank, Commission Junction, or PayDotCom. The marketplace or program provides the affiliate with a special link, or hoplink, that he can advertise. Affiliate marketers earn a commission when buyers purchase the product through the tracking hoplink. Commissions vary based on the individual affiliate program but range from $10 to $100 and up in some cases.
Blogs
Blogs allow individuals to start writing about virtually any topic and earn money through a variety of programs. Pay-per-click programs, such as Google AdSense, give publishers the opportunity to host ads in exchange for receiving a small commission for each visitor that clicks on an ad. Bloggers also use traditional forms of advertising, such as banner advertising, to earn money.
Membership Websites
A membership website involves offering products and services to a specific niche group of people and charging a residual monthly membership fee. Several online software programs exist, such as Amember and MemberGate, to help site owners create and manage an entire membership site from the beginning. Membership fees depend on the particular service you're offering, but anywhere from a monthly $20 to $40 subscription is average.
E-Commerce Stores
Shopping cart software scripts, such as osCommerce, Volusion and Zen Cart, enable people to create e-commerce stores on a website from scratch. Online user programs, such as Etsy and CafePress, give individuals a complete online platform from which to sell. With an e-commerce store, you typically set your own prices for each product, which means that you can earn as much as you want.
Local Directories
Online directories act as Yellow Pages and phone books for people who want to find business listings and information about restaurants, services and entertainment. Some people create local directories for individual towns, cities, and regions to attract both local traffic and tourist activity. The directory owner earns money by charging for listings, displaying 'featured' businesses and adding other paid features.
Freelancing
Freelancing on the Internet provides opportunities for individuals who already have a given talent, some experience or something else to offer. People freelance online with web and graphic-design skills. Writing and virtual assisting are two other large freelancing groups on the Internet. Freelancers offer services on their own site or use a site such as iFreelance, oDesk, or Guru to find projects and list services.
Revenue Sharing
A popular way to earn money on the Internet is through revenue-sharing websites. Users typically join revenue-sharing sites for free and create content that gets published on the site. When the site earns money from advertising programs, the profits are split with each of the members.
Social Lending
Social lending sites, including LendingClub and Prosper, allow individuals to join, deposit money and select loan applicants to whom they would like to loan money. The interest rate that the loan recipient pays becomes the amount that the loaner earns. This opportunity involves risk, but can be profitable if you have money to spare.
Online Advice
Counselors, psychics, spiritual advisors, professional doctors, computer technicians and other advisers can earn money by providing services to others through a site such as LivePerson.com or LiveAdvice.com. The provider generally sets a per-minute or per-chat-session rate for his advice, and collects this fee upfront or bills it to customers after the chat or help session is over.

How to Start a Turnkey Website Business
Start-up Considerations
1. Start a business plan. Many new turnkey website start-ups fail because their owners did not research their product niche, the technology needed to run the website, their Internet competition, and the money needed for web advertising. Turnkey website businesses do offer a number of revenue streams to help with profits such as banner advertising, Google AdSense revenues and selling merchandise, but finding the right revenue mix for your turnkey website business niche will take research.Writing a business plan helps to discover and uncover issues within any turnkey website business faster and without the loss of any money. Turnkey website business start-ups can get help writing a business plan from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
2. Get financing for the turnkey website business. Starting a turnkey website business seems low cost, but the advertising costs to encourage customer traffic flow and the marketing need to maintain customers often cost more than planned. Website content plays an important role in running a profitable turnkey website business, and hiring someone to provide interesting articles to keep traffic flowing to your site also will cost money. Even if you include these cost estimates in your business plan they often cost more than the plan because of advertising price changes or new website competitor that causes an increased need for additional advertising.Even if you feel you can self-finance your turnkey website business, you may want to apply for a low-interest government loan or business grant. Business start-up costs often exceed their business plan budgets and having the extra capital will provide a needed cushion in case of an emergency. Use websites such as Business.gov and Grants.gov to find government loan and grant opportunities.
3. Implement the chosen turnkey website business template onto a host server. If none of the owners have technical experience it is best to hire an expert for this process. Some products require coding or technical tweaking that may be difficult for someone without experience.Open the accounts needed for the turnkey website business to receive payments online, open a local business checking account, establish an office (home offices are tax-deductible business expenses!), and apply for any business permits or licenses needed locally.
4. Test the turnkey website. Run a test of the system prior to marketing the turnkey business website. Google Business Solutions offers free tools to optimize an Internet business, but it does take some technical knowledge to understand the products offered. It is important to check all web links, test the website on a number of web browsers, make sure each web page has a link to the home page, and have others review the website to check for errors and ease of use.
5. Promote the turnkey website. To make money the turnkey website business must attract customers. Marketing campaigns should start small until the business owner understands his market and is comfortable in handling transactions. Advanced products, such as Google's AdSense, are expensive for those who do not understand how they work, or they can drive so much traffic to the site that the turnkey business is overwhelmed. Social networking, press releases, and podcasting are inexpensive ways to start promoting your business.

2. Choose the image to be used. The image source URL is determined by right-clicking on the desired image, and selecting 'copy image location.' A variety of web resources offer to host images at no cost for those who use their own images. Other images can be found free, to lease/use, or purchase. The image used must be one that falls within the user's rights. Using intellectual property that belongs to another is at best unethical, and at worst illegal.
3.
Fotolia.com'>
A banner ad can draw attention on a blog.
Insert the target destination site (yourdestinationurl.com) and image source URL (yourimagesourceurl.com) in place of the generic examples in this code:Copy that code with the cursor, and paste within the text editor of the blog program. Upon publishing the individual post, all the code is saved as is, and viewers see the designated image as a link within the content. When viewers click on this image, they are taken to the designated URL.
4.
Fotolia.com'>
Increased banner links equals more web traffic.
Preview the resulting page, if possible. If this isn't possible, test the banner code on a personal web page, such as a social networking site, before posting it permanently on the page for which it is aimed. The image within the banner likely will not show up while the text editor is open, even in rich-text mode.

Google Advertising Options
AdSense
AdSense lets you earn revenue online by placing targeted ads on your website. It's free to sign up for an AdSense account, and once you sign up you can customize ads to match your site's look and feel. You can choose where you want ads to appear, as well as which types of ads you want on your site. Whenever someone clicks on an ad on your website, you get paid. Google offers several tools through AdSense that let you track the performance of your ads, so you can keep high-performing ads and tweak ones that are not earning you money.
AdWords
AdWords is Google's advertising option that lets you create ads that appear in the 'Sponsored Links' section next to the search results, which can help you boost your website traffic and sales. With AdWords, you can drive targeted traffic to your site by creating ads that show up when prospective customers search for a predetermined set of key words. Google offers tools and support for maximizing the effectiveness of your ads when you sign up for an account, which is free. You pay only a 'per click' fee when someone 'clicks through' your ad and visits your website.
Google Tags
Google Tags is another advertising option you can use to promote your business. Local customers often search Google for the products and services you offer. Google Tags allows you to build a free business listing and add 'tags' that let you highlight information you want your customers to see. For example, your tag can highlight a 'buy one, get one free' offer for new clients, a great review about your business or a link to a cool page on your site. This offers a way to advertise and promote important information about your business. You can try Google Tags free for 30 days and then pay a flat $25-per-month fee (as of January 2011) after that.
Google Places
With Google Places, you can create a free listing for your business, which can help customers find your business online. For example, if you operate a flower shop in Lansing, Michigan, you can sign up for a free listing on Google Places. When customers search for 'Lansing MI flower shop,' a listing with the contact information for your business appears in the search results. This can serve as a free advertising option for your business, helping you stand out and gain greater visibility for your company.

Google Cloaking Techniques
JavaScript Redirects
JavaScript redirects are one of the most popular cloaking techniques. When the Google bot indexes a page that contains JavaScript, it cannot follow links that are hidden inside it. These links can be used to redirect human visitors to a new page while keeping the search engines bots on the page they initially landed. Using JavaScript in general is an entirely legitimate practice, but using it to deceive the search engines is likely to have Google take action against your page.
Doorways
Doorway pages are sets of multiple Web pages that have been perfectly optimized for a specific keyword or phrase that all lead to a single destination. This form of cloaking allows that destination to have increased traffic because the doorway pages have funneled down visitors from multiple searches and keywords. Because the landing page may not be related to the visitors search query directly, Google has banned such practices. Google's aim is to provide users with valuable and relevant search results.
IP Address Filter
Whenever you visit a Web page, you are identified by your IP address. This is a numeric address that allows the website to discern between a user in a specific location and a known search engine Web crawler. Cloaked websites can use this address to show different content based on IP addresses. Showing different pages to search engines than to human users is another form of cloaking that is not in accordance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
Web Traffic and Google
Many websites generate up to 80 percent of their visits from a search engine. Using a Google cloaking technique is equivalent to taking a shortcut in hopes of having your site receive more attention is a shorter period of time. While you are likely to see a burst of traffic initially, it is hard to convert that traffic into meaningful results if you do not have valuable content, and you run the risk of Google banning your website from its search engines.

How to Find Valuable Domains
1. Research new companies who may be willing to pay for a personalized domain name. Check the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times for new startups that have good financial backing. These companies are the ones that will want a domain name that links to the name of that company. TechCrunch is another great resource for new online startups.
2. Find who is running for presidential, senatorial and representative positions. Local and national newspapers are great for this. These people will want domain names that reflect their own names. Imagine if, for example, www.barackobama.com linked to a pornography site. These people are willing and able to pay to protect their image. Keeping an eye on up-and-coming delegates running in your area.
3. Buy up the domain names using a domain name hosting service. Include .co.uk, .org, .net and .edu names if possible. Use Google Adsense to provide a short-term revenue stream on your sites. Place content on your site that allows search engine crawlers to categorize your site. Include an e-mail address that people can contact you to buy the domain.
4. Contact delegates to let them know you own websites that are linked to their names. Set out your fees according to their reputation and status, but be prepared to negotiate. Alternatively, use a valuable domain name auction site.

How to Earn Money Using Kontera
1. Visit the Kontera website and register for a new account. Make sure to read the publisher qualifications before signing up. Kontera does not accept sites that are engaged in illegal activity, pornography, illicit drugs, hate, violence and excessive profanity. The site must also use English as the primary language and must be content rich.
2. Sign into the account and configure the links. After the website has been approved by the Kontera team, sign in and access the 'Content Link Setup' section of the Kontera site. As of this writing, user configuration is limited to modifying the color of the inline text links.
3. Determine how many links to display on any given page. Although the purpose is to monetize and earn additional money, too many ads are distracting and can cause visitors to click away. It is best not to overwhelm visitors with too many links. Notify the Kontera team if the code generates too many links.
4. Copy and paste the code into your website. Once the configuration process is complete, the Kontera website displays the implementation code to be placed into the blog or website of choice. Make sure to place the code before the closing body tag
of the HTML page.
5. Test the code to ensure it displays properly. Testing the code is an important step. On occasion some web scripts may interfere with the proper display of the Kontera content links. It is best to thoroughly test the code on one page of the website before inserting the code on all pages of the website.
How to Create Multiple Streams of Income Online
1. Create a niche website. The more specific the topic of the website, the better your chances of earning higher income. Choose a topic that you're knowledgeable and passionate about, and start creating content related to your topic. Monetize your site with ads relevant to your site's topic using Google AdSense or by joining an ad network (see Resources below).
2. Sign up for an email marketing service, such as Constant Contact or iContact, that will help you manage an email mailing list (see Resources below). Create a signup box for your website so that your website visitors can sign up to receive updates from you. Send out a regular newsletter packed with useful information related to your niche topic. You can place ads directly in your newsletter, or promote other people's products for an affiliate commission.
3. Create a blog related to a niche topic. It can be the same topic as your website, or something else that you're interested in. Stay abreast of the most current news and information on your topic and make regular posts to your blog. Help to create a sense of community among your readers by encouraging and responding to comments. Monetize your blog with ads, through an ad network or Google AdSense (see Resources below).
4. Write articles related to topics that interest you and publish them to sites that offer revenue sharing programs, such as Associated Content or eHow (see Resources below). Be sure to follow the guidelines for the specific site that you're writing for, and publish as many articles as you have time to write. The more articles you publish, the more revenue you could potentially earn.
5. Write content for other business websites for a fee. Once you've become a skilled content creator, it won't be hard to get other businesses interested in having you help them create content for their sites, especially if you know how to optimize the content so that it's search engine friendly.
6. Create an ebook and offer it for sale on your website, through your blog or through your mailing list. If you have specialized knowledge in a certain area, your ebook will be filled with valuable information that others would be willing to pay for. You can also allow other website owners to promote your ebook for a percentage of the sale, otherwise known as an affiliate program (see Resources below).
How to Get an Adsense Account Reinstated
1. Write to Google to explain that you have not violated their Terms of Service. Keep your tone pleasant and offer to provide evidence to show that any clicks on your site are legitimate. Grovel a bit if necessary and ask for a human review. Google will ask you for information before they consider your appeal.
2. Provide the information requested by Google about your publisher ID, website URL, the source of your traffic, your site's audience and any other relevant information. This will show Google that you are serious about your appeal.
3. Collect evidence of the reasons for the suspicious clicks that have led to the Adsense ban. Sometimes a surge in traffic can look suspicious, but if one of your pages has featured on Digg that is a possible explanation. Server logs can also show whether traffic is valid, so keep a backup of these.
4. Continue to write to Google every couple of days. Ask for updates on the review process and include more evidence which will support you case for having Google lift the ban on your Adsense account.
5. Wait for a decision. It may take up to 30 days to get a decision on the Adsense ban. If you have provided enough evidence of your innocence, once the decision is made you will get a letter from Google that your appeal has been successful.

How to Get Paid for Linking
1. Become a paid blogger. Sign up for a paid-to-link program for free. Do not bother with those who charge for membership. Why should you pay to make money when you can do it for free? Join the paid-to-link program and place text links on your blog site or on post pages. You make more money for the link plus a short blog post. Here are a few sites to get you started: PayPerPost, Blogvertise, ReviewMe, BloggingAds and PayU2Blog.
2. Place text or banner links on your blog or website. This is how you will get paid. Each time a visitor clicks the link, you get counted for one click-through. You may be paid a certain amount per click or a percentage of the sales generated from your lead or a combination of both.
3. Become an affiliate by signing up on the vendor's website and create your link. You can make a good residual income from advertising your affiliate links on your blog. Write a short post --- around 300 words --- and place your link within the text with an invitation to check out your product. The post must be relevant to the product to encourage readers to click through. Affiliate links can be obtained by joining Amazon.com, Clickbank.com and Commission Junction just to name a few. On your blog or within a post, place the link with your associate ID embedded in it. You earn a commission when a visitor clicks the link and purchases the product. Clickbank products generally pay between 50 percent and 75 percent of each sale.
4. Create a HubPage or Squidoo Lens that will allow you to make webpages on any topic and link to affiliate products. It is as easy as writing an article; you can add photos, YouTube videos and text links within the body and place links to your other sites and blogs.
5. Write and submit articles to article directories with your links. Write a short 400-word article relevant to your product and place your link in the body, if allowed, or in the author bio box. Some publishers like Ezine Articles do not allow affiliate links, but you can place links to your blog with a redirect to the affiliate site. GoArticles and ArticlesBase allow links in the body, but Ezine Articles only allows links in the bio box.
